This dance literally brought me to tears. What really did it for me was when Sofia signed “We are family, always”.
the plot was so simple and predictable but i dont know why I'm so fond of this movie. especially this scene, i cried over zuzu's part "we are family". the song and everything was so beautiful
I know it's unbelievable but i actually cried while watching this scene. It is so beautiful.
This was the moment when April became the mother she never had. 💜 Such a beautiful dance as I come back to it every now and again to uplift my spirits.
Dear Netflix, Elissa, Mia, Resonate Entertainment and the whole cast - Thank you for making such a beautiful moment with this song and for making me part of such an inclusive and beautiful film. Much love, Francois.
Can we also talk about the LEVEL of growth from her first teacher feature? Not only was this one inclusive and less me me me but she just did a whole 180 on the depth factor 👌🏽
Perfect song choice. The emotion is really there. Song Title: Always - Francois Klark
She became a mother she never had. ❤
I have seen dance competitions since I have been a dancer, all of my friends are dancers, and always loved watching dancing movies, this is one of the most beautiful group dances I have ever seen. The music and their dancing is so so amazing. With the music it makes this dance extra special. I honestly didn’t think this movie was going to be that good but it was one of the best dance movies I have ever seen. Their story is something that won’t be replaceable. I love this movie. I love everyone in the cast. 💖
Imagine being able to dance with Sofia Carson, that would be a dream come true 🥺💙
I think that the flower in this dance represented both Sarah and April’s mom because they both were letting it go as if she was leaving them or going to heaven. In the movie they mentioned that April’s mom left her and Sarah’s mom died
At the beginning of the movie April was told that the teacher feature routine is not about taking the spotlight, instead showcasing what she's taught the students. But I feel like this routine is actually a showcase of what the students have taught her. They taught her sign language. They taught her to be free. They taught her kindness and how to be a part of a family. They had a lot to do with her character development and this routine really was a display of that. People change people.
This is my favorite dance that they did
This scene always hit me hard. The character development of April from a selfish ambitious type of person to a soft caring one was so good. The kids were so good at acting and also doing those difficult moves despite their young age and the side characters were so wholesome to watch, too. It felt so warm throughout the movie.
This dance is so beautiful and it really shows one by one how to family starts to get bigger. I think the flower in the beginning of the dance represented April and Sarah’s mom and when the flower went up and they started dancing with each other shows that they became a family.
This is the best dance from this movie
This scene was BEAUTIFUL and the song that was playing touch something in my heart
Watched this scene over and over and it still brought me to tears. Love the song and the dance so much! ❤
Wardrobe did a phenomenal job. Her look was very tough and hard at the start. Biker look- blunt straight hair always in black and severe heavy makeup. At he end she starts wearing her hair in loose waves and more colours and light romantic makeup. Also also first teacher feature was in red with spiky wings, she looked devilish and fierce-intimidating dance moves. Compared to now in floaty dress, ethereal look and moves that drew you in and touched emotions.
