Bannerlord can be a pretty complicated game if you let it, but it doesn’t need to be.

Make sure you go into the game with an open mind, and take your setbacks as lessons to learn from.

@SomeGuyOnTheNet.

The difference between charging and engaging your enemy are as follows:

Charging.
Your troops will charge steadfast towards their targets without keeping composure to their original formation.

Engaging.
Your troops will keep composer of their original formation while pushing to engage their target's.

🧐 you're welcome.

Also a good tip to finding companions rather than just roaming around looking. Open up your encyclopedia go to heroes, click wanderer filter and voila it will show every current companion, click on them and it will show you where they were last seen and if you have already met them, it will show you their stats

@mj8756

You missed the best advice you could possibly give to a new player - Find a sugar mommy, talk sweet to their dad, marry, sell their armor for an easy 60k. Put them on every Frontline for the rest of their lives.

@TheRealThird

Learned a lot of new things in this video even though I've been playing BL a ton lately.

A few extra tips I guess from what I've picked up:
Practice troop orders early on. While it might seem silly when you only have 12 units in total, I find it's easier to get in the habit of your formation keys and planning mentally with low amounts of troops than suddenly remembering to do that when you have 50+ in battles that carry more weight.
Pressing left Alt while in battle will highlight all your troops icons, and your enemies icons telling you what kind of troop they are, and how many are left in that formation. Extremely useful at teh beginning of battle to figure out what formations to use and how to approach the battle. ALSO will highlight dropped weapons and shields in case your shield breaks in a melee.
Think about what terrain you're engaging enemies in. If you have a very big focus on horse archers, try not to engage enemies in a forest on the world map because BL actually does a pretty fantastic job matching the battle terrain to the terrain on the map.
In wars, listen to your army leader. If they say to charge the left infantry do it. I've found that you tend to win more battles following the AI's instructions than going on your own. At least in my exerpeince.

@bornkinggamer3347

Wow this game has so much more depth than I thought it would. Awesome summary.

@aidanruddmusic

I'm new to this game and have watched a few beginner guides but this one is hands down the best! Keep it up legend

@ArishVanNikon

Very unique is an understatement for this game, it's literally the only one of its kind in the market, at least as far as I know, it's a breath of fresh air for sandbox games, I'm waiting for manor lords release next year, hopefully, it would be a great contender for this game.

@vesignito8222

pov: your watching this while bannerlord is downlaoding

@uptoolayte1

Why would I give the video a like and subscribe BEFORE watching it? I don't get why content creators keep saying this. Who rates something before they see it??

@TheMurkyProductions

Hey man, just wanted to say it’s impressive you were at 950 or so 5 months ago and now you’re pushing 7k, congrats man and fantastic video!

@evanboldt4644

Just got this game a few days ago, your vids have been beyond helpful in educating me on how to play the right way!

@mo_gaming2417

I didn't even realize you only have around 1k subs until now. The quality of the videos and the way you lay them out made me think it was a lot more, keep it up!

@jtchromeos4795

Getting back into the franchise and this is the first video I see. Congrats on getting 26k+ more subs since you released this video!

@jpeacem

1) I like starting off with 15-20 Aserai Footmen. Because they have a mace, which means more prisoners. Crossbows and maces knock-out opponents instead of killing.
2) I first look for a wife/husband to start pumping out kids. They'll also be a skilled companion with great gear.
3) For companions, I first look for a Spicevendor to form a caravan and use most of my companions for caravans.
4)When I have all the caravans and workshop I can. I fill up on troops and wait for a Rebellious town to siege.

@rockybalboa5611

I recommend to build character atributes 1.Social 2.Endurance 3.Inteligence. Be mercancery than Vassal and get wife as soon as posible use smithing to get Lord orders and donate enemy Lords to the dungeon to improve lords relation for future kingdom Creation. If you dont use NPC in party role (as quatrmaster can be your wife with steward because she have to stay with you if you have born enabled). If you screw it you dont need to start new game. You can retier your character in the middle of the map location and play as another family member.

@Ravery95

I'm 30 hours deep into this game now and have just started watching your videos. I think they're great. Appreciate the effort, edits, humour and information. Cheers man.

@Speuler911

Just found this channel and I've been BINGING the videos. Thank you for it and please keep it up!

@OmniTron1000

Good tips on army comp.

Alternatively, you could just load up on Fian Champs and never lose ever again.

@dallasmayhew3150

The fact he made a video of this quality with 900 subscribers shows with his current count! Good video!
