Straico is just a better deal to me because of that API access. Means you don't have to buy Open AI or Anthropic API credits to use in other applications. That's insane value you get for free every month.

thanks for video dave, did you mention that straico gives 12 months credits rollover ? no other appsumo deal does that !! and merlin tier 2 would generate only 200 dalle 3 images where straico tier 3 would generate 2000 dalle 3 images...

Tried it for a while, and after hitting the default chat limits (with some documents I was analyzing breached the default limit), I found that I would burn through a lot of credits. Combine that with the other things like image creation, I refunded. I'll stick with Merlin Unlimited (which is not an LTD) for peace of mind, since I will use it a lot on a project by project basis,. Also, not that impressed with the range of voices on offer. For light usage it looks good though.
