I'm French born Chinese and I'm not from her generation, yet I've been growing up with this song.
When I was kid my dad had a Chinese restaurant, and he used to play her songs.
Surprisingly, I remembered this melody years later after hearing it through a Chinese music app during my first travel in China.
At that time I also met a very special person and this song is intimately associated with her.
She told me her dad was fan of her, just like my dad. During Christmas, she sang this song and it literally made me fell in love with her a second time. I secretly hoped I would play this song for our wedding.
Even if we aren't together today, this song and its memories will remain safe in my heart.

I play this music because of dahai and yinzi.. Addicted is still number 1..i miss them so much.. No one can replace in my heart.. This series leave a big mark in my heart.. It's hard to move on.. Such a nice story ever.. Thank you yinzi and dahai for being a part of my life.

Everytime i hear this song i feel like Gu Hai and Yin Zi characters are real. They're somewhere out there living a happy life. I can feel the feeling that Gu Hai had towards Yin Zi was sincere through this song

Yes, it's  yr 2022.. and still rooting for #TeamGuHaiBaiLuoYin... I learned about their unrequited love at the start of covid pandemic and became a fan. Their story inspires to give faith, hope & love a chance..

This is one of my grandma favorite song she would sing along with the song even when she don't have energy she would sing and dance to song like she was still in her 20 but sadly she died 2 years ago. whenever i felt empty, sad or lonely i would play this song to remind me of her beautiful smile and imagine what she would say to me if she was still here. This song means a lot. i will definitely carry her beautiful smile with me for the rest of my life. i hope one day when i get married i want to play this at my wedding so that she know she is still a part of my life.
