Does anyone else hit "like" as soon as the video starts? What a great series by one talented woman & the dad who taught her so much.

@simeo7572

Can you make the videos longer? I enjoy watching you every Sunday. You are such an inspiration.

@erikaleighart

It is so great how safety- and health-conscious you are with your eye protection and with the respirator whenever there’s any question your eyes or lungs might be at risk. Short-term and long-term, your body will thank you. And it’s a good example to anyone else who may be undertaking renovation work. 👍🏻

@CrissCross808

I love how your dad lets you do the work and stands to the side, ready to help. He doesn't do it for you or take over the project. Great guy!

@richardroberson3802

You have the perfect mix of real time and time lapse I really appreciate that. I'm so excited for this project, selfishly, I never want it to end lol

@dalam8538

Your dad is an amazing man...to be giving you this support!! I can only imagine how proud he is of you!!

@LaurieDavis-t1o

1. I love the way you just get right into it, no silly in this episode or intro. 2. I love how you consistently upload and I know when to look forward to it. 3. I love your North Dakota accent, it’s so soothing to listen to. 4. I love watching you work, your hard work and dedication are an inspiration and motivation to me. I’m super invested in this project and your channel, I’m so so grateful you take the time to film it as you work. Looking forward to so many more from you, and of course, seeing the one dollar house turned into an adorable home for you. Great idea on the fence, looking forward to seeing it!

Keep as much of the large cardboard pcs that you can. Flatten the boxes and place them somewhere in your yard so you can use them at the bottom of your raised beds in spring. We bought a 1948 “distressed” house 3 years ago and although we never be finished, lol……I’ve gotten my concrete block raised beds all in, used cardboard, compost and good soil to fill them. This last season was my first to harvest and it was a bumper season. The cardboard is great cheap weed barrier.

@DS-lf6ol

I’m addicted to these videos. I have no idea what I’m going to do when your house is finished. 😂 Keep up the great work!!

@amandak8689

I love that you’re reusing so much of the wood. Reducing waste and salvaging really cool and unique finds!

@laurafisher6531

You literally are the most descriptive YouTuber ever. The way you fully describe what you're doing needs to be recognised. Sometimes we watch a video then have to research what they've done, not in this case. Well done sissy, you're smashing it ❤

@tinaloseke6575

God Bless your sweet dad. I spent 9 years renovating a townhouse from top to bottom and my dad (from age 72 on) helped me every step of the way. Don’t know what I would have done without him. It’s great when our dads have some expertise. Mine is a retired home builder and finish carpenter. Looks like yours is really skilled too.❤

@pamelabell2960

The $1 house is looking good! I hope you build a porch across the front of the house.

@LiamCottrell-g1z

I have been hear since day one and she is an independent woman and I have never seen anyone do this and have so much energy to redo a whole house!!!

@kenishaw1040

I love that you and your dad are working together on this project. My dad and I would do that when he was still living. Brings back great memories. :)

@tammystark6364

Just an FYI. Sometimes regular primer isn't enough to stop the stain from bleeding through. If it comes through again use a shellac based primer. They smell pretty bad but will seal in most any stain. Learned that as a school custodian.
Love watching the progress and all the work you are handling yourself. It gives more meaning when you know you did it. Be proud of your work

@tonjaadair9141

PERFECT WINDOW FOR A CHRISTMAS TREE - GREAT WORK!

@JasonSmith-q6u

Kilz latex primer works really well to cover stains and discoloration before painting. 👍

My goodness Tia, I feel like your parents...I am so proud of you. I know your parents are extremely proud of you. You decided what you wanted, made plans and now you are on the road to renovating your home. Granted your dad helped...at times. What I noticed is that he allowed you to be the one in charge and he was your assistant.

To Tia's parents: I am so grateful that you instilled in your daughter that she can be and do what she wants regardless of her g**der at birth. You have given her the tools to be successful in life no matter what she does. Thank you 😊.

@leifhietala8074

Tia, for future reference: stir your mud. Before starting with drywall compound, chuck a stirring bar into your drill, or even just go after it with a stout rod or dowel - a broom handle works. But stirring the compound first makes it a lot smoother, it goes on better and works easier on the surface.
