It's pretty rare for a tornado to be in the Illinois River valley, next time you're in peoria, hang out near grand prairie, north of bartonville away from the hills, they're always rolling through that area.

Fulton, Knox, Schuyler, McDonough, and adjacent counties are great targets for good, open views. Based on experience, also prone to large systems and funnels

So glad I live in Indiana with astraphobia 🥰. Nah stay safe out there y'all, keep your eye out for later around 11pm. My town just got hit with the core of the storm. So much lightning and rain, not very strong winds although, most gusts lasted for a few secs. Was worried about a tornado for a second cause the radar seemed to show rotation.

Indicated rotation was in Hendricks County near Danville. Some rotation was spotted to the south east of Whitestown. Where I am at they’re warning us to watch for rotation, and I am in Zionsville.
