“When I showed the photo to my wife she instantly said no…. which just meant I had to buy it even more.”

Truer words have never been spoken.

@daveblock4061

We bought a new car last weekend. When asked by the salesman what we would like I said, "A 1990s Toyota".

@AFTER_MIDNITE

In my opinion, the best looking Suburban is the so-called “square body” (Rounded Line) from ‘73-‘79 with round headlights. I wish I had one of those in 4wd.

@yeanah2571

If I had disposable income, this would be me.... with Crown Vics

@andredziardziel5390

I love 90s suburbans we had one when I was a kid and I absolutely loved it it had a 454 and 4 wheel drive it had 297 thousand on it and haven't had any major repairs done to it, I was saving money to restore it when me and my father hit a elk at 75 mph and bent the frame back and smashed the passenger side pillar I was so sad

@DrewskisBrews

My wife won't let me buy a square body Suburban (as I desire due to nostalgia for the '88 I used to move to town when I got my first real job, as well as memories of the awesome built 4x4 red '90 from the movie 'Dante's Peak'), and she always tells me"I would have never even dated you if you were still driving that 'thing'". It is the most shallow thing she ever admitted to.

@SORBCOINC

Ive owned four 'burbs. Currently own a 1992 GMC Suburban C1500 with Travelquest package. I probably will never sell the '92 'burb. These are amazing trucks and have more character than any new Suburban.

@richardkunkel5285

Rode in identical 90s suburban in NC as a kid. Mom driving, reasonable driver. Next thing I know, we're going 70 through coast roads, cars dumping onto soft shoulders to get out the way. Didn't feel the brakes till we got where we were going. Mom said driving that was just like doing coke. That's when I started actually getting to know my mother. Apparently the buttoned up, put together, professional woman was a really recent change. I didn't know then, but I didn't have much time left with her. I'll always love that fucking truck.

@truckyeahpodcast

I have had Several Suburbans. I built my 87 into a Dually and even had a 2004 Yukon Denali XL with Duramax Allison swap!

@robertmontalvo597

I have had 8 suburban/Tahoes I know exactly how you feel. Best vehicle GM has ever made

@lcswartz49

A man can have everything but he wants something else 😂😂

@dustinsmous5413

90s Suburbans are one of my favorite vehicles!

@Scott-v8k

I am on my 4th suburban in my life. I have loved all of them. Every suburban I have owned has given me 600k+ miles on it before I got another suburban. My 2nd suburban lasted me until 940k miles. A 1989 GMC suburban.

@jeffjames4064

She said "no" you did it anyway. Dead man walking 😊

@davidholtz6590

I'm okay with Suburbans as some of my sisters' families have em. I have the extended family 2000 Excursion and love it. 4 kids, Wife, 2 dogs and luggage back & forth Idaho-Indiana in comfort. 400K miles and running strong.

And recently Mrs. barked at me for buying it. Doesn't get better than that.

@A4mikev1

I have a 1996 GMC suburban which I dearly love. it has a 5.7 vortex and other than some issues with the transmission it's been a great truck since I bought it in 98.

@FedkaSlovanich

my poor 95 tahoe has 390K miles, i ran it without coolant or oil changes for 2 years after the rad broke and the engine had a spun bearing, ran good including red lining it up mountain’s trying to blow it up, rebuilt the engine and its been spotless for 2 years

@WKidd1776

I put nearly 650,000km on my 03 before it gave up the ghost. Can't say I've ever found a better truck than that one.

@theshapeexists

Had a 96 suburban. Everything about it was awesome except the mileage.that thing was indestructible. The people we wold it to 12 years ago still drive it today.had 354,000 miles on it when we sold it. Those chevy big blocks are tough
