I've heard you can find some rocks that are similar in shape and paint them to look like strawberries to deter birds. I guess it attracts them, they realize it's hard, then they think every strawberry is rock hard., and eventually they'll stop.
Dollar store hula hoops, shiny cover removed to expose the join. Pull that apart, trash the little rattling beads, jab those open tubes onto stakes or rebar. Instant support for bird or bug nets. Zip ties or any wire will hold it on. My dad was the family “Over-Engineering-Specialist”. I miss him and his contraptions. Once I told him I needed a portable rolling garment rack to display some of my clothing designs. He welded me up a 150 pound rack with all-terrain wheels. 😲 Could have taken that thing off-roading, just needed a seat and a motor.
Haxsters should be those who actually try or do the projects and Hax Maniacs should be those who are fans but don't actually do projects but just love the channel!
You're literally the Bobby Duke of gardening and DIY, and I'm so here for that
The easiest hoops we've used so far are 4' rebar every few feet with 10' PVC. I'm not a mathematician 🤪 can't remember the size rebar or pvc... we use plastic in the winter and you can use netting for the birds. Love watching and laughing with Kim!
💥 I was going to say something about painting rocks red. Looks like it’s well covered in the comments. My uncle did that, it worked great. However it’s more fun to buy new tools than paint. 👍 Keep on tractoring!
You probably already know this but, they are probably just going at the strawberry's for there water. Not sure if that is true but also as you most likely already know, You could add a bird bath for them to drink.
The swamp video showed TRUE ACTING SKILL. Great family involvement with the right attitude toward life-get r done! Love you all and thank you very much to all of you.!! Informative and entertaining. More power to ya!
The strawberries are safe! The Robertson Drive - a legendary Canadian invention and also a personal GP favorite - hands down. My vote Hax - Haxsters ( less syllables....:)). Have a great weekend.
As a first time watcher 😊 of your DIY videos; your very good at what your doing, a total natural. Thank you & your family for making this available. Your daughter is learning so much from you! Your funny too. So glad your not uptight & so serious cause that would be too painful to watch. 😂😂😂
Starting @10:10 was a really good prank. I've heard and read that plants thrive to certain music, however, that scream.......I mean singing was genuinely pure and there's no way to help myself but LMAO, and she may have just killed everything within a 10 foot radius. LoL!
The video is great, everything in it.. But the armadillo made it the best! So awesome to see it so close to you, first time I've seen a "private" video show one also, so awesome! ❤
Love your laid back building style. Free handing that router was Jedi Master. Thanks for posting.
The motion sprinklers are awesome! I set one up at my buddies house facing his door so when he came out to get his paper it got him. I did it on a Friday night knowing he didn't have to work so I'm not a total A. He did keep it and has been using it for 2 years to save his garden. I use my cut hair and sprinkle it around. It's been working great
I like how you mention just the parts of what to worry about and not a bunch of wild conspiracy theories and you're very entertaining and know what you're talking about. Great job!
Love the planter box by the way. You're givin me ideas... And I love ideas... But for me they take some time to manifest... 😎
You are very fun and funny. great way to start the day. Thanks! Because I am allergic, I have a bed of strawberries that are just for the birds and insects, and I let them go wild all over yard. Your bed is so tidy and clean!
Just fun to watch! This channel is always a joy!! 🥰❤️😍 always recommend! 11/10. Please give me a strawberry!
We had deer, rabbits and many other animals eating our veggies and what helped was a urine fence. Sounds ridiculous but if you pee around it or use a bottle and it keeps all critters out.
