Good comparison of electrical performance. In the final analysis in choosing a brand, the remaining factors in play include reliability, the dealers quality level of service and availability of replacement parts.

@WhipTube

Best video ever. 2 minutes. Didn't have to sit through 20 minutes of babble to get the information. Bravo.

@jacobalderman105

πŸ‘πŸ‘ straight to the point! Love it! Thank you!

@ThomasMarcotte-jt9od

Great test. I'd like to see more coverage of this test. Thank you for doing it.

@jeff-cw7gy

Thank you for this test video. Our group was waiting for someone to to a test like this since the older one was a head to head with only Generac vs Kolher years ago running live.

@solarandwindinsouthtexasda1473

I own a Generac. My Generac is 28 years old. Never miss a beat.

@jeffbeaman9386

Great video guys! short concise, and it's clear you brought out the test equipment to make it more objective. Thanks for sharing!

@ThePete2432

Just ordered the kohler, thanks

@Pandabubba9

I’m a new person in Florida. I’ve lived in Connecticut. I saw this video and was so excited about all the brands being tested, and figured Pennsylvania would know their power outages.

@teter129

Your service truck states your a Kohler dealer . . . I too would like to see more data to rule out bias.

@badlands555

I just had a 14KW Kohler installed. Hoping it will be a good unit. For me one of the items was the Kohler engine. I think they are good engines.

@sanleon1314

Great video! Just purchased a Kohler RCA20 from Power Equipment Direct, installing it this week myself in Houston area.

@p.bateman7033

Comparisons on warranty, parts availability, etc. is important to include.

@Ally-g7i

Thank you so much.

@TexasNightRider

Helpful Video.  Thank You.

@beagleboss1334

Do you guys have more footage from this with the voltage/frequency/rpm readings from the load/start tests? It’d be great just to have this sampler video and then a full length one with all the tests for us guys who care to sit through 3hrs of testing πŸ˜‚

@beagleboss1334

Does that say you put a 100% pre load on the KOHLER and it still started the 5-ton AC? What was the Locked rotor amps on that ac unit?

@Washington-Dreaming

I saw another video which said the Kohler used less fuel per hour running, at least compared to the Generac. This is going to be a factor for me especially since I have to install propane tanks. If I were running natural gas (NG) β€” I had a house with a 22K Generac on NG β€” maybe fuel consumption would be a minor factor and I’d consider other features more. But obviously propane has to be filled so I could run longer with the same tanks using a Kohler I believe.

@artguti1551

I think this test should be done in Phoenix AZ during the middle of Summer. That's a true TEST!
