It's funny how with time the mind can forget even the most basic things when not used for years, especially since we use our phones to calculate even the simplest things these days. I haven't used math since I graduated high school 14 years ago. I'm preparing for ASVAB and I forgot all the formulas, terms and even how to do divisions, but once I saw the examples and explanations, my memory immediately started flooding me back with the "forgotten knowledge". Thank you for the video and tutorial!

When I say you helped me out so much! I came out with an 80 AFQT..was struggling at first but I remember you saying “the more you practice the better you get” and it really works, regardless of how comfortable you are with math

For anyone who will be taking the ASVAB soon do not stress it it's a fairly basic test I suck and taking test and I passed. Remember if you fail it, you can always take it again later. Really works I passed my ASVAB with a score of 45 ! Not the highest but not being away from school for 7 years it really paid off I didn’t know a single question until I first started off with the foundations of math thank you colfax !

I used ASVAB Tutoring app for my practice and scored 65. This app has similar practices that you get from recruiters office. Highly recommanded

I’m 28, haven’t done math like this since high school, and I’ve never even heard of factorials, I forgot how to divide and multiply on paper, terrible with fractions, wasn’t very good at any of it even back then. Now I have the ASVAB coming up and it reminds me of high school math teachers, I feel like your standing up there speaking in an ancient and forgotten dialect. I don’t know what it is with me when it comes to math.. I’ve always had such a hard time, it exhausts me mentally 😭 I’m better with vocabulary. I hate numbers.

I was in special education my whole life. So they never really cared to show us this stuff. So learning’s this might help me over come that dilemma. You break things down so easy to understand even for someone with a learning disability. Definitely will pass my practice asvab and will pass the big one so i can sign my contract and raise my right hand for the U.S Navy

I’m not even taking the ASVAB, and this is just a wonderful math tutorial video. As someone who’s always feared math but is proud when I get it, I still tend to be worried about being wrong and especially on exams. This video was clear from beginning to end, because it helped me instantly remembered formulas I thought I forgot. Thank you for making this!! 🎉

Ive never seen an actual good math teacher before, This is my 1st time since highschool 5 years ago. Wow man you actually have me in awe. I not only know how to do what you taught, But i also learned how to do other equations with the same way you taught.

@colfaxmath just got my scores today from my asvab retake and I scored 20 points higher than when I originally enlisted! (55 to 75) I now qualify and am getting accepted for my conversion. Thank you so much for your help!
