@RaccoonRecluse

FYI There are 5 stages of hoarding, that guy at 9:05 is a level 3 hoarder. It only gets to level 4 when structural damage happens to the home. Hoarding is it's own sub type of OCD. I had to go through therapy for 10 years to get from a level 4 to a very clean 2.

@Kitty-Marks

The reason handcuffs have such a short chain is so that chain can't be used as a weapon and so a finger can't get stuck and cut off. It's an imperfect system but it's scraping by.

@Multifando2763

Robin = you tell them,they look it up
Damien = they tell you
Lexi = they wonder
Jack = what the jack

@christopherg2347

8:12 Clockmaker.
The paper plate number dial can get caught and moved instead of the clock hands.
Funnily it still shows the right time.

@consciouscode8150

5:00 the lock of hair suggests to me it's taglocked to an individual person, not the property. Looks like a curse but should be harmless by now since they've moved away assuming you believe that sort of thing.

@Plasma127

this is my favorite intro out of every emkay vid.
"i just ate two whoppers and i think i might die"

@brianartillery

12:10-ish: Those look very much like fungal mycelium, to me. That's the main body of a fungus. The bits that you pick, either to eat, or to poison someone with - the mushrooms/toadstools, are just fruiting bodies. Most fungi are underground. A lot have an odd symbiotic existence with tree roots, but those definitely look like mycelium to me. Contact your local authority, and see if they employ any Mycologists. If so, they can probably advise you.

@Graytail

03:50 Compound eyes are basicly hundreds of very simple eyes in a tube. You have a lens at the front, then inside each tube is a photo-receptor. Functionally its kinda similar to how a computer mouse works, they're very good at detecting changes in light levels, so motion, but not so great for actual *vision*

@Kade-h8p

Fun fact, the woolly mammoth went extinct after the pyramid of Giza was built

@notagoat281

2:31 As long as there are no leaks in the gas line, you should theoretically be safe. As long as oxygen can't get in, the gas can't combust. So theoretically you shouldn't be in any immediate danger, but still best to get that fixed ASAP, because even if it can support that current without issue, I know it wasn't designed to do that, so I would not have a lot of confidence that something won't give.

@SpaceBearEngineer

6:11 honestly messed up how human bodies can just form wrong in such a way that it's destructive to our own skeleton. Glad we can fix that kind of thing now.

@YaBoiTheGrimReaper

3:42 Those eyes essentially allow them to see more angles, better detect movement and apparently in a few instances light polarization

@pirobot668beta

Funny Finds: I had an old Dodge Dart...it wouldn't die so I was cursed to keep it.
About 6 years in, I had reason to crawl under the car, check on the rattling exhaust.
That's when I saw it: the symbol used by Blue Oyster Cult...three exclamation points and one question mark.
It had been painted on the differential housing...not a stencil or spray-paint...I could see fine brush-marks.
Not only that, the artist had laid down a base coat of black enamel.
Really nice workmanship, but who did it?
I had been under the car a year before, nothing out of bounds then.
If this was a prank, I approve!

@babowasalwayshere

Ah yes... the tiny creature death spiral... I've seen a lot of animals do that, usually of the small variety like bugs and rodents. There's probably science about it.

@herstoryanimated

18:08 "No! WTF! Dude?!" is probably exactly what the snake thought

@Echo_The_Phox

"What kind of Caucasian shit is this" is now my favorite Robin quote.

@catriamflockentanz

14:05 Whether a burndown happens is also a question of the bugs in question.
If it where hornets for example they would be stupefied and relocated.

And if it where Termites in the South of England the literal Government would spend Millions on a whole Renovation of an old Lady's home to make sure that Britannia stays Termite-free.

@eldritchcupcakes3195

3:45 it’s a case of evolution deciding good enough usually, but technically it’s more vision range for less definition. It looks pixelated if you’re wondering.

@Entertainment-qe1vn

Fun facts: Mammoths were still around when the pyramids were being built AND humans are the main reason they are extinct. Bringing them back won't have any negative affect on the environment because they're suppose to be here.

@ScorpionRevengeNCG

if you make the chains on a handcuffs longer, people are able to either still use their hands and it defeat the purpose, or move the handcuffs from behind to in front and make it easier to run away.
