It's so funny to see how tiny a 4090 actually is without that MASSIVE cooler
Bro upgraded from a 3090 to a literal bomb
It's crazy how the size of graphics cards has only increased by about 1.7x but the power output has has increased so much that the overwhelming heat caused the heatsink and fan sizes to increase by more than double. Edit: now that I think of it independent water cooling on gpus would be a good way to save space and increase cooling performance. Imagine, instead of a massive amount of fins as a heatsink, it's a densely packed arrangement of heatpipes full of transformer oil being cooled by the gpus fans and 2 small 4 fin fans as the pump to circulate the water in all of the pipes. I mentioned the transformer oil because in the case of a leak your gpu and the rest of your components would be safe from damage
Most manufacturers donโt do custom loops because theyโre a logistical nightmare that introduce too many potential points of failure to guarantee long term reliability for the consumer.
Going from a 3090 to a 4090 is like damn Iโm having issues dropping frames when I go native 4k at 240fps must be time to upgrade ๐
The fact people are upgrading from the 3090 to the 4090 while Iโm still on the gtx 980โฆ.
Looks like a chill dude ๐
bro whyโd he use half of that thermal paste ๐
Man the only guy I see constantly helping is golden soldier
I have built about 3 PCs in my life (now mid 20s)and this was really cool to see. Cant wait to try water cooling
The FE cooler is so beautiful. I feel a bit sad watching this :(
Nini is the man thanks a lot man

I got the 4090 last weekend ๐ I can now play flappy bird in 240p ๐
He made a mistake, he's supposed to use the backplate between the pcb and screw. Not a big issue but it prevents stress on the pcb and prevents the pcb from wearing away when screwed in.
