The harvesting blades are good at slaughtering dinos, you don't get any meat or anything, but it shreds through them like paper, you just drive into them and keep the blades on them.

I just found out that you can place storage crates on the caged bed without a weapon. It does cause the crates to disappear when the rig is stored so be careful with that
