@StormheartOfficial

This is a remake of my first ever original "A Storm is Coming." I decided to keep the lyrics from the original (granted, slightly modified) because the meaning of the lyrics have changed over time and so has what this track means to me. It's why this remake sounds a lot more bittersweet rather than edgy and sad.

I don't like explaining my lyrics usually but I feel like the meaning behind this track is pretty apparent. Essentially the meaning behind this track is, "do I deserve happiness?" Lines like "Drifting away, motionless without a new way" basically refer to feeling like you're trapped and drowned in negative feelings and then "I was once I stray dog; lone wolf, but then you gave me hope and I'm engulfed" basically refers to wanting to isolate yourself from others because you don't want to damage them; you don't feel like you're worthy of affection. You're lost essentially.

But regardless life goes on. Thank you for reading I really appreciate your support ♡ This track took about 8 hours to finish over the course of a few months and it feels good to finally release it.

I don't know what to comment on this masterpiece

@jacob_ishereee

The scene of the city in a storm seems nostalgic to me.

@sp14tt3r

I hope you keep remixing this, it's like your personal Tokyovania \(:D)/

@InfamiiVT

When you really pour your heart put into a song like this...It really represents the hardship not only of a relationship but also a songwriter. The weird thing is, I find parallels to Tokyovania Control as well as the song "INsAnITy" in this song. Although, a few things hit me deep for an aspiring artist.

"When direction lost its boat, it seems it's time to write a song, but when I lay a set of notes, they always seem to come out wrong"
Really hits that sort of perfectionism that most people would want to hit in a song they write.

TL;DR, this song is amazing not only as a representation of your personal trials and tribulations, but also a representation of a struggling artist. Love it, even if i'm six months late for it.
