@SmokinSilicon

Was this thing worth the $300 price tag? 😬

@ProtoMario

Not defending the pc, but, after all those updates it definitely seeeeeeems like updates are still installing. Hence the cpu and ram usage.

@ThatIckyGuy

That's just a tablet with extra steps.

@Nova-Pixel-6

this thing isn't terrible, i mean its 300 bucks, with a touch screen, upgradable ram and storage. I'd buy it just to tinker with it, but the processor is what kills it for me.

@literallyloaf1

It seems like the fans power was hooked up, it must either be a bad connector or something in the bios settings. I know for a lot of computers you can set a constant speed that doesn't change based on temperature, maybe they accidentally set it to never run. Or it could just be a bad fan motor and I'm overthinking it

@GamingTechWhiz2

You get less fps when your cpu is overheating

@amdintelxsniperx

the cpu is an alder lake series but.... its throttled to no end as the boost is supposed to be 3.4 ghz

@paulr7678

The concept itself seems great for running a "headless" server that technically has a head, in case you need to physically access instead of remotely. Don't have to move it to where a monitor is or move a monitor.

@SubstituteRealitiesChannel

Was surprised by that Ghostrunner game letting you set its resolution to ultra potato 127x79 LOL

@remixedcat

It would be a cool weather station but it's too hot for that

@Xcatalogue

3:04 Celsius or Fahrenheit? 💀

@Neon-Noodle

I'm almost certain that the fan not spinning was a driver issue. I've dealt with plenty of similar mini pc's and usually after a quick run though with SDI tool it spins right up.

@plan7a

If you place the computer on a cooling tray (with fans built into it) and/or place some proper feet onto it so it is raised off the desk it might have better cooling; just a thought. It might also be possible to change the fan speed in CMOS to ensure it runs at a faster speed; this may also help. The speed of it and the graphics, however, is a different matter; although perhaps adding more RAM could help a bit? Just saying!

@noberd

thats most likely used for restaurants or businesses as like a payment portal thing i forgot the term but u get what i mean

@Beyond-Cooked

bro that is still better than my laptop

@FilipSimeunović

PRESS CTRL, SHIFT AND ESC TO OPEN TASK MANAGER NOT CTRL, ALT, DELETE. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

@hameddesign70

totally not biased at all, you know what i mean, not biased

@ThomasCollectables

It's probably alright for social media, emails, YouTube and basic web browsing. Admittedly you can do all or those things on your phone

@jimbo-dev

I think it is quite a good deal. Consider that it is probably some sort of an embedded dashboard. What alternatives are there? Raspberry pi is like 100$ and that doesn't include case, screen etc. Similar minipc:s are at least 200$ and with a screen 300$ does not seem that bad. But obviously the product description must be exact if selling to someone who actually needs such device. I'd use one as home assistant control device, not with windows though.

@freshvintage

No chance of malware being on that thing at all 😬😬😂😂
