here in 2021...when trying to make the 2 in the y column a 1, you can also subtract R3-R2 and this should save you time and not give you any fractions.

I have an exam tomorrow and I did not understand this entire unit when I was "taught" by my professor, I thought I was just dumb but I guess I just have a bad professor who can't take the time to actually teach his students the material.
