@Rubiktor012

I switched to Arch for two reasons, number one is that I like to have full control over what my system does, and number two is the ability to say that I use Arch btw.

@dFuZe_Dev

Most friendly arch Linux user

@SlavJerry

one thing that made me love arch is the extremely comprehensive wiki

@HisVirusness

Arch is so much more reliable than it was a decade ago. I have it on my main machine and my laptop; never had any issues and everything runs great.

@ImHHOY

when you use it and your classmate say "What windows you use" you respond "I use normal windows on my home. My pc is arch"

@Garfield_Minecraft

I use Arch on my phone btw

@koonesuki

I recently started dual booting Arch, and I can say that it's been very reliable. I don't really do updates and whatnot if they are not mandatory so that could be a factor. But so far I've been happy enough with it that I rarely think about booting up Windows instead.

@Ejioplex

Used it for the "I use arch btw" joke but after using it for a while I really like it.

@orcavia9123

I tried many distros that come with Wayland KDE,
but none of them work well with a touchscreen in portrait mode.
Only in Arch Linux does it work as intended.

@ピーナッツパンチ

I switched to Arch linux last week and I faced problems but there was a way to solve it in Arch forum I took time to find it because I'm japanese who still not used to searching with English. I completely got into Arch linux while learning English.
very enjoyable, thank you for the community.

@MarichiChip

Never expected Minecraft Steve to explain Arch to me

@spookdot

It comes with nothing, meaning you can make it whatever you want. But it also lets you install everything thanks to AUR. And as a developer, rolling release means I never have to deal with my distro using outdated software. So often I have to go around the package manager on other distros to not get some ancient version of something

@desktorp

First time I tried Arch was around 2008 I think. I struggled to get it set up but eventually succeeded. An update broke something and I went back to a Ubuntu or Debian base. Arch today is a lot more reliable to use and simpler to install. Some of the cons of the rolling release model will never go away. IMO the rolling release aspect is undesirable; for me, the AUR is the best part of Arch.

@OS-Advertising

The community packages are amazing, arch is the most open os out there

@ZaharielEl-Zurias

calling arch reliable is same as calling empty canvas most beautiful art piece. edit: +1 like for mustache!

@A.F.E.Gaming

The reason why it is so famous: I use arch btw [i use arch btw (i use arch btw)]

@Chronologist89

I was always intrigued by the idea of having full control of my PC, but never really haf a good entry point to get started. Then I watch a few videos by Luke Smith and was sold.

@slliks4

Honestly, I don't know why I use arch 😅
For me, it's just for the flex.

Come to think about it now
I have come across fewer problems using arch than ubuntu, mint, and fedora
Maybe it's because I put in the effort to make everything work for the flex 👁👄👁

@sarkar_957

Hey man, why dont you make one video on how to properly install arch and how to customise it. Also arch + kde video too .

@deivedux9342

When I was distro hopping and got to Arch Linux, I was stuck with it because I fell in love with its highest level of simplicity and the fact that it doesn't brand anything to itself, unlike other distros. But, a few years later, I moved over to Fedora because its manual setup and maintenance was starting to outweigh the benefits of its simplicity and lack of bias that I was craving for, and now I want something as simple and with low-maintenance.
