There's zero reasons not to have the results on election night like 2016 and every election before that.
How the hell did Georgia became the last state to call but it is the first to close in 2020?
Make sure you're registered to vote, fill out your ballot thoughtfully and with intent, and vote as early as possible.
I do not understand how Texas, California, Alaska and Hawaii practically on the other side of the world, finish their counts up faster than Wisconsin, Michigan or Pennsylvania
Make elections believable again. Americans have a right to trust their elections and find out who won on election night.
Anything more than 24 hours is embarrassing.
India with 900 million voters count all votes within hours lol. We get results within 3-4 hrs.
If Florida can get its act together, then so can Georgia.
When you're not a third world country lol. A joke. Even Nigeria counts in 24 hours or less
I don't care who wins, as long as both teams are having fun, that's all that matters.
In Germany, we call an election within four hours after close of the polling stations if it is very, very close. And we also use exclusively paper ballots. Also, if you are very unlucky, you'll have to cue up for 20 Minutes before you can vote.
IT WOULD DELAY BECAUSE THEY WANT TO CHEAT .
Several days? So stupid
They are going to try and steal it again
Not even in Mexico or in Argentina they take so long, polls close around 6pm after a SINGLE election day, with in person voting and voting ID, and the results are given by around 11pm or so
That's bullcrap. It's supposed to be an election DAY. Not election week, 2 weeks, etc. By 12 am on election day all legal votes should be counted for and tallied. We have been having elections for almost 300 years and you never used to have such crap. There needs to be some kind of reform done because this is ridiculous.
Bro it's not hard to add... It's the first thing you learn in math. The fact that this question is being asked is ridiculous and is one of the reasons why voter fraud is an issue. "oh we can't count that fast", it's called a computer and we have used them for over 2 decades now.
Yeah. I remember late mail in ballots arriving in PA after midnight. Like 215k for Biden and 0 for Trump. Not odd at all 🙄
Another repeat of 2020. Damn why might not know the winner till Saturday then
