Dude you really are the redstone community’s biggest advocate. Love the message in this video <3
Thanks for including me! 4:48 And thanks for including Storage Tech in the doc!
honestly, the only thing that keeps me away from redstone is just being lazy, but the hardest part is bug fixing and putting stuff together
Make a 3x3 door that you have to do a lot of puzzles to open 1 block at a time
Honestly, I think the thing that gave me the most growth in my understanding and confidence in red stone was playing on a survival multiplayer server. I freely confess I like to use cheats on single player; I find it makes it more enjoyable for me. Obviously that’s not an option on multiplayer in most cases, so the thing that sort of triggered it was getting to the nether and only being able to find three pieces of quartz. So I figured out a bamboo farm design that only used three observers, and it was a) super fun and b) super inspiring to complete!
i love craftymasterman guys
3:20 5:29 Holy shit, random Davi and Viniccius encounter, that I wasn't expecting
02:35 my subscribe button glowing too this is cool feature in youtube i just discovered
I always played vanilla minecraft but recently i used worldedit and i gotta say it really helped with my last build, the Random Invisible Armor stand Maze, or RIAM. And i just like crafty really recommend using some of these tools.
As a semi-new redstone creator myself, I absolutely see how this can help other people. Amazing vid!
After this video, I joined the first server you talked about. Then, I made a 3x3 slimestone door. No tutorial. No help, except for some comments from one of the players online. I felt really good about. Thanks.
One thing I think is fascinating about redstone ia that the mindset is almost idenyical to that of programming: Take a task, break it into bits that do simpler tasks, break the bit into bits, ad infinetum until you get to bits so small that you know what circuit to build to make it happen.
I wonder why I only found this in my sub-box a day late, but I'm glad I did see it. Great video, Crafty!
Command blocks are the closest things to Redstone in Minecraft. But they don't have as much limitations and are way more compact which is what made me in love with them. But Redstone has it's own joy which is why I'm trying to make myself better in redstone. Thank you for your great video, it really helped
a few years ago in like 1.8 i tried making a 3x3 piston door but I couldn’t figure it out, observers and copper bulbs made it very simple

This was a great video crafty! 1 thing id like to add is if you are a beginner definetly learn some of the basic circuits and then when you are following a turorial for something you want to build, try to understand at least parts of how it works and identify some of basics that are usually present. Theres tons of resources to learn just like crafty said whether its discord servers, youtubers, or just friends you play with. We may seem like an elusive community as jazzi red has said lol but were really friendly and more than willing to help. Ive even started my own redstone basics youtube series for anyone interested in learning. Much love yall
I don’t follow tutorials. I have absolutely no problem with tutorials, in fact, I think they’re great. But I don’t follow them because I find the best thing about redstone to be figuring out ways to do things myself, and picking up pieces of information or techniques from watching YouTubers doing those things in videos. It is very satisfying to be able to say you made something out of redstone yourself, and it works, but the feeling of making a functional redstone contraption completely from your own mind is unmatched
thanks for the amelix shoutout! love getting new people in the community
