I took Equinox out for test drive. Nice all around and little on cheap side. Very disappointed in power. The Nissan Rogue 1.3 would walk all over this 1.4. Power issue w as a deal breaker for me....

I asked my independent mechanic is there were any SUV's or CUV's that he would absolutely NOT recommend. His answer? "Don't buy an Equinox, they're junk."
