Woah, no botox, eczema, black spot and red eyelids ! She's real and just accepted her skin and age. I support 100%
If the rest of Hollywood was as transparent and genuine as Amanda, people would probably have a little less trouble with comparing themselves to celebrities.
As someone with eczema, I just want to thank her and Vogue for not putting a filter over to hide her skin! It's encouraging to see someone as beautiful also struggling with a similar thing. And also with the blonde lashes! I felt that, too - gotta have my mascara.
As someone with eczema this was so comforting and empowering to see. You never see this sort of transparency online with celebrities on large platforms like this showcasing skin problems like eczema. Thank you Amanda and thank you vogue.
It so cool that such a beautiful actress would allow us to see the flaws in her skin like that!
As a dad to a daughter, thank you for the honesty and showing reality. We need more of this type of positive and supportive content for young girls (and the equivalent for boys too!)
Love that she talks like a normal person
The teenage girl inside me is crying in gratitude... Eczema ruined my teenage years. I hated my face, and myself in general, and I was sure that no one would ever love me. Thank you for showing the world that eczema and beauty can go together. 🙏
She is really naturally beautiful, and so REAL. Very refreshing!
I almost cried when I saw this. I have struggled with PD and eczema for at least 6 years now and nothing seams to help in the long run. Not even oral antibiotics or creams. You don’t see this problem represented much so thank you Amanda for having the courage to show this on screen and for being so cool about it too! Means so much for all us eczema girlies
"It's giving HEALTH" is my new quote of the month
I didn't even know she had eczema, I have it too around the mouth area, and it makes you feel so self conscious to go out in public. I love her for being raw about the struggles, it makes a lot of people feel seen.
Queen for doing this unfiltered even though having a skin condition can be so hard mentally and physically - we love Amanda
This is the most authentic beauty routine I've ever seen, I love how she really means every word, she seems like such a wonderful person.
I always loved her big doll eyes. She reminds me of Rampunzel lol
What a mature, real personality - not hiding her flaws, not caring for the "perfect daily look". Also, loved the small recollections about first cosmetics and makeup steps/issues and how that effects people emotionally.
I think this is one of the very few Vogue beauty videos that doesn't have a filter ❤
I’ve been the “ugly”girl my whole life because of my eczema. Thank you Amanda for being brave enough to do this in a world that values fake beauty above everything. This is real beauty .
So happy to see Vogue featuring Icons like Amanda and Leighton in their beauty secret lately! 🤩
