A tip to check your values in grayscale: Instead of just desaturating the piece using the color adjust tool, make a new layer and fill it with white. Then set the layer mode to "Color". It shows the real values this way, because if you're just desaturating it, the piece loses it's contrast! edit: I realized that this only applies to some art software that doesn't give accurate values when a drawing is desaturated...but it's still good to check just in case XD
LOL the Miguel moment is so real. On a real note though your videos have been so helpful! I'm so glad to see this video as I happen to take a week to do studies and try to improve my weaknesses!
Not miguel lmaoo😭😭
Currently making a book and drawing my own cover 🤭 I want it to be my best work and this helped SO much!! Amazing as always ❤❤❤
No way?? Early to a Bluebiscuits video??
One thing I like about your videos is that you don't just show us the speedpaint, you explain why you did it, how you did it and how we can get to that skill level too. Thank you ❤
ok... but let's all agree on something! we all use blue's voice as a way to relax!! i was doing a digital art sketch for the first time (my experience with digital art is very small if not nothing). idk how but i didn't stress at all, didn't get the nerves or anything. your voice just relaxes me so much. i ended up liking the sketch very much! please never stop making videos! i'm new to the channel but i already feel like i'm going to be addicted to it.
When I draw I’m like yes it looks good, then I look at Bloos art and think to myself that I suck. I know you shouldn’t compare yourself to others but you still do it unconsciously, I love your art and artstyle Edit: I really admire you❤️❤️
As someone who's just beginning art your videos help me out so much!! tysm its so easy for us to understand 🙏🙏 (I also really love your art, its amazing)
I LOVE THE NIMONA ART PIECE ‼️🔥
It's 6 in the morning and I just woke up and I was so excited to see this video pop up on my feed. I love your art so much and I've always admired the way you colour your pieces. Colouring is one of the things I struggle with the most in art, so thank you so much for this 💕
Oh my goodness, thank you SO SO MUCH! The tip on mapping out the lighting in gray and white was a life saver! I'm learning how to do humans after years of plain old four legged animals, and developing my digital skills at the same time, and I have no idea where to begin..... :') Thank you for helping me. <3
This was INCREDIBLY helpful. It’s like you knew I searched for this because I was looking at other artist’s ways of coloring and being mad I didn’t understand how to do it. I’ll definitely study the way other artists do stuff and try to find what is so captivating about it.
This is fantastic timing, im trying to color art for my EP cover tysm :DD
im telling you everytime i come across your videos i tend to,, erh start drawing without even thinking about it and then i realize how much your videos help me develop my art more!
3:20 Miguel do got quite a layout if ya know what I mean😏
I was watching this while I was making a birthday card, so I kept looking down while you were talking. I looked up at the part where it said how you were getting sick while making this, so your voice would be different. I looked down, and an add came on. A totally different person started speaking and it caught me off guard LOL. I was like "wow she wasn't kidding" pfffft-
this video helped me SO MUCH thank you!! as a fully colorblind artist, picking colours has been so difficult for me, but this video helped me so much. thank you!!
Woah this actually helped me alot!! I've been trying to understand how people color pick and use color theory for so long and this video really just made it click for me! Especially when you explained the hue-shifting, that's so cool ^^ Edit: You have such a cool artstyle :0 your color choices are incredible
