@elliemcclennon7856

If I had a boyfriend and he asked me “can I sleep in the same room as her” he’s fucking gone, my daughters safety is above all else. That is disgusting how she’s saying “I don’t know if I want to press charges” WOMAN ARE YOU OKAY?!

@jae314

I’m a victim of sexual assault. Now I’m a first time a mom of a baby boy - I will never allow anyone to be around my son unattended.

@andrealawrence3606

It’s so disgusting that she is not troubled that her daughter was sexually abused. She clearly chose that rapist over her daughter! What a waste of space!

@JuanPaBLo-sj5jm

The fact that she said, she sends her 13-year-old daughter upstairs with a man that is not her father so she can get some good sleep is very concerning

@hucklebuckchuck7218

It’s literally crazy how much she is obviously in on it and doesn’t get arrested or charged with anything at all.

@DixysStorytimeWorld

From the beginning when the mom reported her, no way did she sound like a distressed mom. I'm a mom and I would be hysterical

@dox8148

“Okay, the sex thing happened, but” is one of the fucking craziest and deranged things I think I’ve ever heard

@Emerson-w4w

“A completely side thing” she said referring to her daughter’s abuse. Lock her up.

@Girlypop-vq2er

The audacity to say "I dont know if I want to press charges" when there's literally evidence of him molesting her child just proves that she failed as a mother

@heatherfisher4893

The fact that she wasn’t absolutely disgusted to find out about the sexual assault speaks volumes

@madisonstubbs6753

another detail this doesn't mention is her mom also tracked Madelyn's period on her own phone and not Madelyn's, and Madelyn had missed her last period. The mom knew what was going on and she knows his motivation to kill her. She deserves to be locked up just as much as him

@amybumgarner8219

The female officer saying, “He DUMPED her off here” sent a chill down my spine…

@Tanooki20

When my son was 8, we got separated when the magic kingdom parade was over-there were so many people leaving at the same time.
I was at security literally throwing up & shaking, crying, until he was found 15 minutes later. I still feel nauseous just thinking about it.
And this woman is calm as can be…
There’s something really off with the whole group.

@HaylieGotsis-wg6or

If I were her mother, you would NEVER see me react that way. She knew absolutely everything. Disgusting.

@juliaoliver1175

The photo of her room of her closet with the cat really got to me. The cat doesn't understand why Madeline isn't there, the cat cares more than anyone else in that home. Her mother clearly doesn't care for Madeline and barely cares that shes gone. The fact even his own father thought of him first when he heard she was missing, the fact that all the neighbors seem much more upset than her own family is just so painful.
Edit: I cant belive that she wanted to see the photos. and she still supported him even after.

@killjoy48

“i feel like sometimes people struggle to show real emotion when they’re aware of what the truth is” that’s some hardcore truth coming from the detective.

@1ala7js

I live in the town where Madeline's body was found. This case has rocked the community and the community is highly aware that the mother IS deeply involved in this. Personally I believe the investigators are quietly collecting as much evidence as they possibly can before they arrest her so that way this is not another Casey Anthony 2.0 mess.

@Worm_Hound

The mom being so dismissive is insane to me. If someone put their hands on my child like that, the cops better hope they get to him before i do

@bobbisteele9264

Guest bedroom? They have a guest bedroom but Madeline sleeps in a corner of the dining room, with only a folding screen for privacy? WTF?

@Itsonlyfriday

The calm and accepting demeanor she exhibited when hearing her child was likely dead was chilling!!!
