A period is the length of time it takes for something to happen. Frequency is how many times something happens in a given length of time,  typically per second. The period of her reload a.k.a. how long her reload takes gets smaller, 20% smaller. However the frequency of her reload a.k.a. how fast she reloads a bullet speeds up, gets 25% faster. 

If any of that is confusing, dear readers, remember: we don't typically speak using scientifically correct adjectives in our day today speech. And just think about it logically: a chunk of time can't be faster or slower--it is just a chunk--but it can be bigger or smaller, longer or shorter. Speeds are assigned to things happening OVER a chunk of time. That is why all speeds are described in cycles per second or actions per time elapsed e.g. kilometers per hour, revolutions per minute, etc. And don't forget that multiplications and divisions are not as straightforward as additions and subtractions. If I decrease something by 20% and then I increase the result by 20% I do not return to my original value. That's because it's a multiplicative decrease not an additive decrease. 100 × 0.8 = 80 but 80 × 1.2 = 96.

You reload 1 extra bullet for a full second of reloading, so you get full ammo in just over 2 seconds in stead of like 3 seconds, massive buff.
