full recipe:

yield: 2 servings
ingredients:
- 75g pre-made tteokbokki rice cakes
- 50g spam, or sausage
- 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 green onion, chopped

instructions:
1. in a bowl, mix together gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and minced garlic to make the sauce.
2. chop your spam into shapes similar in size to the rice cakes.
3. skewer the rice cakes and spam, alternating.
4. heat a pan over medium heat and add the skewers. Cook until it’s slightly crispy.
5. plate the skewers. while hot, brush the sauce on both sides.
6. garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

yes. good people can hold you back.

it's different from how bad or negative people hold you back, though. this one you don't see coming. because you think they're good for you. so you convince yourself to stay.

and yes, their intentions are well; but the output might not be. you might be holding yourself back, convincing yourself you're happy - when really, you're not.

you need growth. you need change. you need to detach sometimes.
