It was a plane called the "Proteus," basically just used for a chase plane.

That's the chase plane. Scaled always have a third aircraft which films the release.

People can you do me a favor please. Pause the video at 1:22 and look one inch down the right hand side of the screen. can you see an object fly in and out of the picture? comes in really quick at 1:22.

That's it? Didn't even get vertical. When are we (Americans) going to get people back into space with something built by americans? It's pretty bad we don't even have a simple basic rocket like Russia has to get our astronauts to the station and back.
