Great first episode! In regards to avoiding NPE in demos, I do a few specific things that seem to help and I tend to be our resident demo guy. I usually keep the game to 30 pts and I personally take one NCU while giving the new player two. It teaches them how strong the tactics board can be while not being at their expense. I also play with open card hands. It gives me a chance to explain combos and scenarios for their cards while also teaching them about my own faction and what to watch out for. -IronChiro

Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

Great topic and very well executed guys. Regarding Vets versus Noob-players and the community:

I played 40K and WHF in a very long time as tournament player, and I too can share the same experience regarding the SIF community. Here in Germany I can say, that the SIF community is very cool and friendly. That applies to the German tournament scene too.

Great content guys. Liked and shared.

Kind regards.

By definition, "negative player experiences" are subjective. It all depends on the attitude of the player. If you get frustrated because you got countered, it is your fault, not the game's. There is always something you could have done differently, in the game or in list building.

I would rather hear more about unit theme.

My biggest gripe so far is wounds. Free wounds on attacks makes playing defensive army's super hard. doesn't matter how strong a unit is if styr can make you take wounds even if you block all hits with minimal down side for his user.
