You may not read this Peter, but I prefer these types of videos of yours by far. It reminds me of why, as a kid and teenager and then as a young man, in the 80s and 90s I wanted to live in a small town in the US. Nice little towns with friendly, decent and hard working people.
That boat builder you talked to is a true master of his craft
Peter I’ve been watching for years, I’m so impressed at how you continue to seamlessly connect with the people of all different walks of life. You’ve inspired me to seek out the raw and real people you feature in videos. Thank you
This is what the world needs to see: the good side of America, and not all the constant drama. Thanks for good videos.
Eastern North Carolinian here. I know that you've been all over the world and have seen many unique places, but .. I can imagine that the OBX will forever drift through your mind and you will smile. It is a special special place.
I disagree when you say that this is not as interesting to watch as drama. Personally, I prefer this. It's so wholesome and heartwarming. I grew up in a very rural part of the UK and I love to see the roads less travelled. More, please!
I smile everytime that ship builder says, “that’s right”, hell of a good dude it seems with impressive skills.
dude I love how your life is just constant side quests...I appreciate you bringing parts of America to us
Brett Barley!!! Are you kidding Peter!!! He's a LEGEND among the few remaining uncorrupted surfer/watermen. Thank you and subscribe to Brett's channel. Amazing person, amazing family. Cheers
Peter has angels walking with him. He has an amazing ability to walk into any community and find and befriend the OG. ❤ LOVE IT.
I'm a hobbyist woodworker myself. Enjoy seeing these mom and pops places on your routes!
I miss the days when television wasn’t so opinionated like social media. This is a pleasure to watch. Keep it up.
Brett Barley is such a humble guy. Dude is a surf legend. Such good people in OBX. Great video.
What a master craftsman. Woodworking and carpentry is not easy at all. That guy makes it look easy by his work.
What a wonderful man you met there, he's so friendly and his boats are definitely pieces of art. You can do a month worth of videos from there. The woodwork, absolutely amazing. You found a piece of heaven right there.
As a native North Carolinian who's spent many moons on the Outer Banks, you did a really good job capturing two important slices of Hatteras; the boat life and the point life. Thank you and good job.
Im glad you got to meet Brett, Geoff, and Dan! Thanks for filming our community. Hatteras is a very special place!
Dude, I'm so glad you came to OBX. Haven't even started watching the video yet and I know you're gonna dig this place. I recommended this in the comments a few months ago. I'm just gonna tell myself that I had a small part in making this video happen. Safe travels sir.
Whenever the world seems a little depressing, these videos just make the world seem okay again, so thank you for showing us the world through such diverse, neutral and respectful eyes. ❤
