My drivers Ed instructor last year told me about a guy who flipped a kid off and told him to “learn to drive”, the car had the words “student driver” all over the car, the kid replied “learn to read”

I think the instructor's mannerism and attitude and leading by example by remaining calm especially under the constant pressure from the yob behind is testament to the great driver she is. Don't crumble to pressure, there are many idiots in life, that was one of.

"Just let them through," is the best advice. Stay out of other people's way. If someone wants to drive faster than you, let them, and be at ease with your day. It's not your job to police everyone else on the road, and you're just putting yourself in danger by getting wound up and engaging.

Well tbf, he saw the merge and saw the L plates you can see just how much he speeds up to try and go tound you before the merge. It's idiots like this that cause the accidents so many of us new drivers to have in our first year of driving
