Libyan here Pronounciation in libyan is more like "Gibli" with a g sound like "gas" Q is the correct way to pronounce it if you read it in standard arabic where ق is akin to Q but in libyan it's closer to the g sound

Miyazaki said that he made a mistake, not knowing that the Italian word is pronounced with a hard G at the time. But by now the word "Jibli" is really well established in Japanese, so like you I pronounce it this way.
