@seanlee3863

US singlehandedly turned a client into a competitor

@fhkhbk

US Government has been acting like a Karen. We all know what happens to a Karen. They self-destruct by thinking they have the rights to be better then everyone else

@Arqua888

wait, when you are in school, professors preached students that competition is good. Now, hard competition is coming, government said it is threat to security. what a double standard.

@WingPoyLeong

No more price gorging by these US greedy companies. Very good news for all developing countries.. affordable and cheaper products for all.

@yonghuachen7075

Competitions make progress. Respect to Huawei

@markc6140

Thank you, self-serving US lawmakers, for all the sanctions that speed up the "great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation" at a much faster pace.

@manolexing68

The sanctions are NOT "international", they are US and allies. Just a slight correction.

@Gman979

Nvidia knew from earlier on that if the US try to isolate China then he will lose the Chinese market. Jansen Huang is a Chinese and he knows what Chinese in China can do.

@capenterjojo3373

Usa was scared about telecom equipment and smartphone product line up to compete. Now they have to compete against chip market, Harmony Os, smartphone markets and telecome equipment

@greaterbayareahero1401

Huawei is awesome on their technology. It's all exciting for consumers and improving the whole industry. China has too much raw talent coming out of the country.

@boy_ngiwi

Huawei can take on tsmc, Qualcomm Apple Samsung Google ASML Tesla and now Nvidia all at once.

@petergreen5337

❤Well done Huawei good for China and good for the WORLD .

@rk88295

US is dumb, they made huawei way powerful by imposing scantions and let huawei make there own chips

@eng80425

Support Huawei. Very sick and tired of all the USA politicians' selfishness. Rooting for China to win

@pbworld7858

Somewhere, Gina Raimondo is screaming.

@juki0h391

I remember 3 years ago, some guy was like China is collapsing, they have no companies that deal with chip technologies, etc. I told him not to underestimate China. I wonder what he thinks now.

@MASMIWA

Now that the importance of AI is becoming realized the race is on. Nvidia thought it was the rabbit and only turtles were in the race. Wrong! Nvidia has found that their pricing attracted competitors near and wide. Not only is Huawei in the race, but Tencent, Alibaba, and unknown Chinese dark horses are starting to raise their heads. Even AMD and Intel are suggesting that they too have or will have horses in the race. This decade will certainly focus on semiconductors and China will rise as the main suppliers, especially dominated by legacy chips. The crown jewels are with AI and where that leads is anyone's guess today. Performance and price will guide the sector, so Chinese companies have a fair chance with several horses in the race. China is the inside bet because it has the government on its side. US semiconductor companies have one hand tied behind their back by their government so their ability to capture the world market is handicapped. My hunch is that China will win the AI race because it has the technical depth, a huge database to draw from, and a strong government backing both in funding and as a customer. The US is making a strategic mistake by not collaborating seeking a winner take all and in that vein, China will take it all.

@sarmadka

This reminds of when the US put a ban on exporting military aircrafts to Turkey, pushing the latter to develop the Bayraktar. Sanctioning a rising nation is only going to delay them few years, at the expence of having them come back later as a stronger competitor.

@90sRenegade

AMD and Intel ought to be ashamed of themselves. Kudos to Huawei and China.

@peterlim8416

Competition is encouraging technology advancement, which is great for consumers. It's regretted US use sanction to stop competition & domination, this is unhealthy for their local technology house. With US's poor management, we can foresee they're in the process of declining
