@scarabyt

To be very clear - this is an UPDATE to a past video

I’ve had numerous requests to give an update with Mirage’s story included, so that‘s all this is :)

@antoniosmith5350

Thank you for making this video. As much as i loved playing these games over the years, if im being honest, i had no idea wtf was going on, lol

@__MaReX__

Its a shame ubi wanted to milk the series and instead of seeing desmong becoming a proper master assassin he just dies for the sake of giving a heroic sacrifice

@insomnyteq

they really went ham there at the middle, i feel like it was just 20 dudes in a room not saying no to any idea. great video, saved me years of catching up

@Jay_Kry5hom

Altair is related to Desmond by Mother , Ezio, Edward, Haytham and Connor related to Desmond by Father

@HyacinthusP21

The ac series has some of the best lore for a game series, also with so much potential. Its one of the reasons I love the games. Now with each of em i have my issues i how stuff may work but i get used to it cause they be fun.

@UncleBenton

I still don't get what's happening

@Cross_40

I like to pretend that the modern plot doesn’t exist whenever I revisit an AC game… it’s much more fun just being a badass pirate, or an ancient assassin, or an Egyptian warrior avenging his son’s death

@franticthinker

Assassin's creed 1 and 2 are responsible for me switching gaming genres... I only played Madden and 2k .. got into a serious car accident and my buddy picked up the games at a game store for just a few bucks and I was instantly hooked.. I only play single player narrative driven games now

@JehBasquiat

The Ragnarok event being the End of the Isu world and the start of the Adam and Eve story is just crazy story telling 💯💯💯

@angelmom7210

That was the best story line explanation I have heard for assassin's creed thank you for your time. I appreciate you!

@jk-es6nf

Bro I forgot AC 1 was in 07…. Why’d you have to remind me 😂😂 I feel old as fuck now

@darthvader3885

My brother in christ. Its 2024, please add time stamps.

@discutiicreative

There should have been time stamps for each game, for me, someone who has not played any game does not know when one starts and other ends

@kylepeck776

People need to stop shitting on Rogue. Seriously. It's the only game that ever questions if what we've been doing for thousands of years, or for us since 2009, makes us the good guys or the bad guys.

Every other game is just blindly following orders. Meanwhile, Rogue is the game that connects Black Flag, AC3, Rogue, and AC Unity together in a seamless story. Rogue explains both Haytham's motivations and Arno's drive to become an Assassin, essentially undoing most of Haytham's work.

Rogue is only considered 'bad' because it came out right around arguably the best AC game of all time, Black Flag. People just keep comparing it to Black Flag and it really takes away from the lore and hard work of the AC team.

@TheBelowAverageGamers

Assassins Creed got me through my history class as a kid. There was just enough historical figures to get me interested in learning more about their actual lives.
Fun fact: Al Mualim is actually (obviously) Rashid ad-Din Sinan who was the leader of the Order of Assassins back in the Crusades. He may or may not have had powers to create copies of himself. That much can't be confirmed or denied

@effsakejamie

Thanks for the recap man, watching this in preparation for Shadows. I honestly dropped off the modern day stuff and the franchise as a whole after Black Flag. I enjoyed Origins but never finished itt and haven't touched Odyssey. Been Tempted by Valhalla but just haven't had the time.

Keen to see where Shadows goes.

@Tecstar70

Great video. Thanks. I’ve got lost with the whole Desmond timeline so it was good to see the narrative (or not in some cases!)

@c-mar9820

As someone who never played any of these games before Origins, thanks for this video. Odyssey was my first AC game and I picked it up specifically for the ancient setting and was annoyed every time the modern frame story or Isu things came up (to be fair I can't stand IRL ancient advanced civilization/Atlantis/etc conspiracy theories). I felt the same with Origins. Valhalla did work the Isu narrative in the game in a more interesting fashion as did Mirage, so I figured I should finally catch up on the whole backstory. I adore Odyssey, but I can see why someone who played these games from the beginning and was invested in Desmond's story and the others would be disappointed.

@neil1452

32:00 was the hardest line ever spoken in AC
