I love how you don’t waste our time with volumes of unnecessary superfluous narrative. Great view mate.

THANK YOU SIR! Searched high and low and I could not find what I was looking for. Found your video, and the steps are the best I have ever seen. Above all, YOU had exactly what I needed! Fantastic!

@christianjeffers541

Hi Chris your breakdown was just what I need to able to create a date AND function/rule where if the date was past today's date AND the cell wasn't empty the cell would change read. Spoke very well and slowly done allowing me to colour and rewrite for my work. Big thank you again for your help

@mirami5166

This was excellent, succinct and detailed. Thank you for your video!

@jesperaverycuyugan4488

Thank you so much sir! 3rd time taking MS-211. 🤞🤞🤞

@ChrisManardTraining Thank you! For BUSINESS DAYS (aka not counting weekends), to say today plus 3 business days after today, would it be... =AND(G2>TODAY(),G2<=TODAY()+NETWORKDAYS(TODAY(), TODAY()+4))
in this example (plus for instead of plus 3 because it includes today in the formula count for the NETWORK days range), does that make sense?

Alternatively, one could write this for today plus 3 business days... =AND(J9>TODAY(),J9<=WORKDAY(TODAY(),3))
...does this one make sense? I think both of these formulas output the same.

GREAT JOB speaking, it's not overwhelming, includes the subtleties in the explanation like "I have it all selected again", and straight to the point. I was struggling to figure out how to apply to a whole column to 3 days and this helped alot.

@AmandaClindaniel

I have a spread sheet that I need to use an if formula on and I am having real trouble. Could you help in some way. I will share it with you if it helps. I am actually using google Sheets but because I know Excel better I have moved it to excel to figure it out and then I will try to go back to sheets and copy the same process

@truthpatriotCO

I'm having a heck of a time figuring out how to do something and was curious if you had any ideas. I have a simple spreadsheet. Column A is dates going down by day and column B is a bank account balance for that Rows date. I have a cell on the top of the spreadsheet that I would like to display the balance from column B for whatever the current day is. Again the dates are in column A. Any ideas? Love your content!

@320Engineer

i'm trying to write a function to tell me if the date i have in the cell is coming up within next 60 days. for some reason it won't update correctly. the date is in c2; i'm typing:

=and(c2<=today()-60)

it works when i do up to 31 days, so i'm assuming i need to tell it to continue counting in days after 31 but don't know how. any tips or advice?

@USMCEdwards

Hello Chris. Could you please help with a conditional formatting where I need to highlight cells which has date of more than a year ago from today?

@jayephgee

Hello, I have dates in various cells on a sheet and I am trying to highlight those cells based on whatever month it currently is; the month, not the date ie the TODAY function; if it's March, no matter what DATE it is, I want the cell that says "March" or "03/xx/xxxx" to be highlighted. How can I do that?

@greenf0rrest

Hey! I am trying to do this but without the today function , simply just using a date given to me. It does not work though either highlighting everything or nothing is it a problem with my computer or is there a way to fix jt

@kennyg-gc4om

Hey Chris,, Can you have a simple formula with dateif in a ifthen formula,, such as =IF(c3>0,DATEDIF(A8,A9,"d"),0 ? I'm using if column c3 has no values, then count days. Thank you!!

@Deadoverme

5:28 5:30 5:31 Hey,

is it possible to make it based on multiple specific dates as example, there are certain days where no one will be at work, so you don't want information send out on those days

Example on formular I'm using but split into multiple conditional formating, one for each date a year where no one will be working:

$L2=DATEVALUE("24-12-2024")

How I'd assume it could look like:

$L2=DATEVALUE("24-12-2024" OR "01-04-2024" OR "09-05-2024)

Is it possible to merge all dates into one conditional formatting? Thank you :)

@LisaMAldridge

Hi Chris! Loved your video! Can you tell what I'm doing wrong in this formula? Trying to highlight a cell based on the word current in one cell and a date within the next 60 days in another. =AND(F2="current",L2=<(Today()+60)) When I enter this, I get an error asking if I'm trying to enter a formula.

@victorwestmann

Do you know if I can evaluate if an excel cell (let's say C3) is "Sat" or "Sun", and if it is, a can use another range of cells to be coloured by light gray?

=IF(OR(C3=”Sat”,C3=”Sun”).
C6:AG15 to be coloured gray?

@roshdavis3607

Hello, I am tracking due dates using networkday function. Let's say for example in column A=Due date, column B=# of days until due using today(), and column C=date submitted. How can I stop column B in a specific cell from counting down, if there is a date entered into its relative column C cell?
