"Take that rage, put it on a page
Take that page to the stage
Blow the roof off the place" Love this thank you The Script!

@paulwhite6339

I'm a 33 year old man, and I cry every time I hear this. Lost my dad when I was 17. I hope he's proud of who I've become.

@abetiongco

Immediately came back to this video as soon as I see the news of Mark's passing. What a Legend! Thank you and to your band for your music. You've helped a lot of people through your music!

@jamiedufourt9844

“Take that rage, put it on a page. Take the page to the stage, blow the roof of the place.” I don’t know what a better way to incorparate both wisdom and poetry than this. 🙌

@pablotobar8353

Now "If You Could See Me Now" hits harder than before. We will miss you Mark Sheehan. Rest In Peace!!!!! I'm with you during this hard time. Stay Strong Danny and Glenn!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭

@markusalbano3987

Probably one of the greatest underrated songs ever written

@godfatherdon3392

My mum saw me as an addict. If she could see me now. Clean for 7 yrs (Edit: Now 8 years!!)

(Edit again: Now it's 9 years!! Can't believe I'm a year away from completing a decade)

Thanks for the support everyone. You've truly touched my 💓)

Edit once more: 10yrs has been reached! I'm so thankful for all of your comments and the love shown in these replies make it easier to look forward. I'm so humbled that thousands of people that don't know me have taken time to like or comment. Humanity can be awful at times (Such as what's happening in Ukraine right now) but when you see things like this, your faith is restored.

Thanks everyone! Here's to another 10!

P.s. If anyone is struggling and needs someone to listen without judgement, hit me up. I will always make time to help someone, even if it's just listening to someone venting. ❤️❤️

@captainroll

Rest in Peace Mark! Your verse in this song is my favourite part of any 'The Script' songs 💚😢

@danieltothmusic

It was February 14 Valentine's Day
The roses came but they took you away
Tattooed on my arm is a charm to disarm all the harm
Gotta keep myself calm but the truth is you're gone
And I'll never get to show you these songs
Dad you should see the tours that I'm on
I see you standing there next to Mom
Both singing along, yeah arm in arm
Now there are days when I'm losing my faith
Because the man wasn't good he was great
He'd say "Music was the home for your pain"
And explain I was young, he would say,
"Take that rage, put it on a page.
Take the page to the stage.
Blow the roof off the place."
I'm trying to make you proud
Do everything you did
I hope you're up there with God saying, "That's my kid!"

[Chorus:]
I still look for your face in the crowd
Oh if you could see me now (Oh if you could see me now)
Would you stand in disgrace or take a bow?
Oh if you could see me now (Oh if you could see me now)

(Oh if you could see me now)

If you could see me now would you recognize me?
Would you pat me on the back or would you criticize me?
Would you follow every line on my tear-stained face
Put your hand on a heart that was cold
As the day you were taken away?
I know it's been a while but I can see you clear as day
Right now, I wish I could hear you say
I drink too much, and I smoke too much dutch
But if you can't see me now that shit's a must
You used to say I won't know a win until it cost me
Like I won't know real love 'til I've loved and I've lost it
So if you've lost a sister, someone's lost a mom
And if you've lost a dad then someone's lost a son
And they're all missing out, yeah they're all missing out
So if you get a second to look down on me now
Mom, Dad I'm just missing you now

I still look for your face in the crowd
Oh if you could see me now (Oh if you could see me now)
Would you stand in disgrace or take a bow?
Oh if you could see me now (Oh if you could see me now)

Oh, oh
Would you call me a saint or a sinner?
Would you love me a loser or winner?
Oh, oh
When I see my face in the mirror
We look so alike that it makes me shiver

I still look for your face in the crowd
Oh if you could see me now (Oh if you could see me now)
Would you stand in disgrace or take a bow?
Oh if you could see me now (Oh if you could see me now)
Yeah I'm just missing you now

I still look for your face in the crowd
Oh if you could see me now (Oh if you could see me now)
Would you stand in disgrace or take a bow?
Oh if you could see me now (Oh if you could see me now)

You could see, you could see me now [2x]

Thank you for reading. I record covers from different popular songs. I appreciate it if you listen to my channel! 😊

I miss my dad, He died of probable covid case, pnemonia with heart attack, and at the end of test result he was negative. Dad I wish you were here with us battling with the whole world.

@LovenArtiste

This is my favourite song from The Script. I remember the first time hearing it and really resonating with the feel. Really got through to my heart.

And it’s all I could think of when I heard Mark passed away. So sad.

Rest in peace, man.  🖤

@skymusic1712

"Dead people receive more flowers than the living, because regret is stronger than gratitude." Have a nice day<3

@aanya1236

I'm adopted, my parents didn't want an ill baby so they left me at an orphanage in Pakistan, the mom I have who adopted me is my superhero. I had jaundice, when your cells don't work properly you can die from it, and she stayed at the hospital with me for a week, day and night tears and sadness. One day she was able to take me home. I'm now 13 and I'm so grateful. The thing about this song is that it makes me feel sad because I just wanna see my biological parents and make them proud. Show them that they shouldn't have given up on me. It hurts to know someone who I was supposed to love gave up on me me,but I love my mom who adopted me so much. She means the world to me. They say superheroes aren't real, but my mom is one ❤️

I would give anything in the world to see my biological parents' faces, just once, show them who I've become

@hapon2976

I haven't lost my parents but this song really hits me hard.

I've taken them for granted, I'm lazy and slacks all the time. I realized that I'm wasting so much of my time on things that doesn't really matter. This song motivates me to work harder and reach my dreams faster so my parents would see and feel proud of how their daughter have become because of them.

As of now, I'm still not sure of how I'm gonna do that but one thing is I'm sure of I'll become successful no matter what. I'll keep trying so I won't regret in the future.

@khoderayache3339

If theres a song that always touches the heart whenever you hear it then this is it. One of the most heartfelt underrated songs❤❤

@ultimatewarrior15

“So if you’ve lost a sister, someone’s lost a mom and if you’ve lost a dad then someone’s lost a son” This entire song is poetry 🤟

@jaytag-at25

To everyone who has lost someone they Love and cried, always know that you are The Bravest person the world has ever seen and everyone is proud of you
