Denise, I've been all over youtube for more than a year, watching various art videos, and yours are by far the ones I go back to. Others come and go, but yours stay with me. I love all the music you select, your relaxed, honest approach, your southern accent (I'm from the Atlanta area too--Cherokee County), your voice, your smile at the opening segment, your creative approach to your work that brings wonderful results just when I think you're not gonna make it this time, the dots, the occasional sidestep into life issues, your "realness." I love the color combinations that you created here... prior to the gold i was already impressed... looked like forest scenes trees and water... then you put the gold on and made it full on abstract art... very nice. thank you for sharing this wonderfulness.

It's been a while since you did mini abstracts. I remember watching your shorts on these which is how I originally found you. Nice way to spend time at my art table if I have limited time.

I did over a hundred mini 4x4 paintings to give in pairs as Christmas gifts.(About 30-60 mins each) Plus I have sold these minis for as much as $200 a piece and they took me less than 30minutes each! I think “mini arts” are my favorite art form. Blues and greens are such restful colors and gold goes with everything. I’m also learning that a “couple of...” in Denise-speak means at least 5. fyi I have an email from St. Louis Art Co. that shows a Hahnemuhle journal with deckled edges. Thank you, Denise!
