I didn't take quantum seriously.i have always followed computer/tech news since growing up with floppy disks and DOS lol .. However after seeing a pic of dwaves quatum annealing device seeing how multiple quantum chips into one of those super cold cores... After reading about the project and results so far I've begun to wonder how far out some of these tools could be used realistically at least with today's supercomputer/data centers capabilities. Together along with AI things get funky! At this point though there's so many different outcomes with everything being researched studied and in use now that in my own opinion we've past the singularity....i don't believe we can predict the outcome anymore! Just food for thought for anyone who reads these words 😊

Things in this world are changing rapidly. Change with them, you can always observe the past that's important but move into a bright future. The human mind is going to become very important as we connect are collective consciousness. Our work used to be with physical labor, in the future it will be made with creativity. Mr. X

Nice list. You forgot one. I think quantum computing would enable digital time travel. A sort of temporal internet that can be used to communicate with people from the past and future. It would also make possible a sort of higher dimensional quantum AI that isn't bound by the present but one that also has access to the past and future simultaneously. Just something to think about...

Quantum AI will definitely speed up technology advancement and it's possible that by 2040 it'll play a major role in producing high technology products that otherwise would have not come out until the 2100's.

This is the future of our existence. Quantum computing may be the new frontier but it’s already making inroads into our everyday lives. I’m not an expert when it comes to this new technology but from what I’ve seen it’s the future to our existence. Or it could be the end of humanity if we don’t use this technology carefully. Just in the last few years things are changing so fast we need to temper the expectations of this powerful new technology. This tech really could be the change that will bring about a more peaceful world with no more wars but a great future for humanity!

What I want is a quantum storage portal. For example, I imagine being in my apartment, pressing a specific button, then a whole 3D space opens up but it's not taking up space in my apartment. I could store all my extra furniture in there! It would be an offshoot of this 3D space.
