I have a theory, A GAME THEORY! You know how brawl stars talked about a mortis vs. Edgar event in the roadmap video? Well the cursed book can jump scare you with a picture of some sort of red demon of something with a mortis sound effect, which is probably his hyper charge skin. But there's also another picture with a screaming sound effect, that might be a hyper charge Edgar skin. I think that there's going to be competition on what hyper charge skin we get will be and if Edgar wins, the community gets the hyper charge Edgar skin, but if mortis wins, the community gets the hyper charge mortis skin. BUT ITS JUST A THEORY!!! anyways yap session over.

Considering that hypercharged skins can drop out of boxes for seasonal trophies, then hypercharged Mortis skin starts to make a LOT of sense!

Since edgar is a part of the gift shop trio and that one image of a room is a gift shop, we can assume it is related to edgar (or, technically, colette and griff too). And I'm pretty sure a hypercharge skin costs 599 gems (price on cash register). And since mortis is maybe suspected to have one, like you said, and there is an edgar vs mortis event, I feel it is safe to assume that edgar is getting a hypercharge skin as well. A secondary pov could be that griff is getting a hypercharge and hypercharge skin for the same reason that a hypercharge skin costs 599 gems but it is on a cash register and griff is obviously a cash register.

PLEASE READ THIS devs said Edgar is getting cool skin next update and you know what we're also getting in the next update Morris vs edgor event and we got hypercharge mortis skin sneak peak so maybe whichever brawler wins we're getting free hypercharge skin for them🤔( don't like begging for likes but please like for him to see this comment)
