I’m a 67-year-old woman. This time last year I built a shed pretty much on my own because of what I learned from you. The only help I needed was to raise the walls and my grandkids wanted to help me with the simple projects. They were pretty proud of their grandma. It felt so rewarding to know I finished the shed, it’s still standing (LOL), has no leaks and it looks good. I’m already thinking about another structure to build. Your wife Brooke inspires me. You teach me. I thank both of you so much!

Hello Dave, I’m a 352 year old man and I just built my 3rd log cabin thanks to you

@Scorpio45Libra

Now THAT is a fire! ❤ I think I'm the worlds biggest procrastinator LOL!! No vehicles, no sirens, no garbage trucks at 5am.........hell yeah!!)

@topmario14

Probably the best Ryan's Shed Plans on building a shed is hardly found ever . https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxcLVQopTIucrxiVRQA0khLGQEnDVKCSMG And Ryan's takes the mystery out of different types of foundation options, etc. He even shows how to build shed with different designs. Very comprehensive, covering different roofing materials, siding, etc.

You are like Bob Ross with power tools. Big fan of your work, thank you for sharing.

@SadSackGaming

This dude has inspired me to put a bit of scratch aside little by little, buy a little plot of land and build a cabin on it. I've thought about buying a telescope, but who needs that if the entire sky is stars?

@billiegoodman4872

You’re not fat, you’re burly. This build was fun. My friend asked, has he done this before?” I said, “ yep, a few times.” You’re like watching a mighty conductor leading a symphony and nuanced and fluid with every step in the process.. You are simply amazing, Dave. Thanks for taking us along.

Your content is ever more relevant as the world gets wilder and wilder

@LazyDaisyDay88

These videos are better than therapy. My soul feels lighter when I watch Dave building a cabin...

@brianandtamiolson2330

All I can say is you and your wife are absolutely amazing people. Thank you for entertaining and inspiring us all.

@Matt_Huffman

My brother and I loved watching and discussing your content. Unfortunately he passed away a few weeks ago and this is the first video of yours I've watched since his passing. It's bittersweet, but it reminds me of him and the time we got to spend together. Thank you for everything you do.

@craftsmancollaborative

The most non-bs, no advertising, detailed content out there 📐🛠 Just simple & thoughtful living. And what a nice spot of land 🙌

@TheSanityMachine33

"It's really all that any of us can do... Just do the best we can with the time we have."

Ahh... some great lines of wisdom there, Dave! :))

@starwarsfan5001

I just want you to know that videos by you. This one in particular. Convinced me to decide to build a cabin of my own very similar to this instead of an expensive foundation home. It made me realize more minimalist homes like this deserve a resurgence. Because, especially in remote areas. They are truly the best way to live. Sincerely, the now 24 year old, debt free, self sufficient man you helped create. Thank you.

@jonathanstrasner2594

This is one of the coolest guys in America. Super chill, great attitude, self-sufficient, confident, and isn't afraid to show that he is praying to God. Beautiful cabin, looks like an ideal spot.

@VardagsrumsDatorn

Hello Dave, I'm a 102 year old man and you have convinced me I can take on this task.

@teonelatuazon8820

You are the best carpentry teacher in the whole world!

@me-l-9910

Here's what I love about your videos - your storytelling, I just love your enjoyable, engaging style, the builds themselves, yes you make them seem attainable, not easy, not impossible, and more work with your hands than emptying your pockets; your guitar playing in the background is great, seamless, easy to take for granted but is a perfect way to sew the whole video together. Like any good maker, it all seems to just happen, but so much goes into it, the doing, filming, editing and I always come away feeling similar to reading a good book, entertained as well as educated and those are two of my favorite things. Thank you so much, Dave Whipple, you rock!

@curiousguy310

I don't know which is more impressive, that you built a cabin by yourself or that you didn't have a thousand sheets of paper with measurements and directions flying all over the place. You are an inspiration.

@genevievedavis6530

One of the reason why I like this channel was that the background music such a peaceful and just suite with the place
