Jumping into too many references I have not heard of as a beginner e.g. Aspire, APi's Stack Traces. I use to program in VB and it was so simple, write the code, design an interface, produce a exe and go.

I have an error message while installing the C# devkit. Can't install 'ms-dotnettools.csdevkit' extension because it is not compitable with the current version of Visual Studio Code(version 1.74.3).

In the curriculum's as a student you were taught java and c++ and as a talent point you've picked up C#.

Ok, following your guide, finally managed to create and run the basic web api, though it didn't have swagger integrated like yours did. Then tried cloning my multi project aspire solution. What a mess, no build options, no simple way to just run it, web searches and tutorials are useless except for toy projects. I don't understand why after all this time, its still so hard to just run build and dotnet projects in VS Code.
