Sharon - I am in the process of interviewing for a new job, and part of that process was doing a data analysis test. The only question on the test I did not understand involved creating a unique identifier and using it to find common items between two sets of data. You not only explained how to do this, but showed a real-world example of WHY you would want to do this. This was especially helpful, as part of my data test required cleaning two sets of data, which resulted in them looking almost identical, which then resulted in me wondering what the point was of using a unique identifier to find common items between two nearly identical data sets. I realized this was meant to be done before the data was cleaned, and after using your methods here it actually made sense, as I found eleven items in common between the two messes. Thank you so much. I love you. ❤

@kathya5569

This video is the easiest explanation I have found for the VLOOKUP function. I work in agriculture and used this to match nearly 2,000 blocks with appropriate yield estimates. I update this regularly throughout growing seasons and this has saved me countless hours. Thank you so much for sharing, you rock!

@carolynlaboy4901

Thank you! i watched so many way-to-long videos and was super frustrated. Then your vid popped up and I was good in no time.Thanks for showing how to use the tool itself instead of typing the command in. Looking forward to doing some more comparisons now. Thanks again and again !
