Bear grylls was in the SAS tho
New holes in the objective got me
Grylls was actually a SAS soldier. He was discharged when his parachute didn’t open and he broke is legs
Bear Grylls was a mountain survival specialist in 21 SAS. They're a National Guard Special Operations Unit, equivalent to 20th Special Forces Group in the United States.
Grylls was honourably discharged due to a broken legs from a parachute malfunction
Well because theres a difference between civillian survival and military survival
the dont go to 5 star hotels over night
This is an apples to oranges comparison, trying to just not die, vs trying to avoid detection are 2 completely different skill sets
I've seen a few Bear Grylls episodes and thought "Is this guy filming a gopro rambo movie?" Also, he has a crew with him most of the time. On the other hand, Les Stroud, 95% of the time he's by himself, filming and setting up cameras by himself (thus burning even more calories than he normally would be). He also improvises a lot more and shows what actually works
Well bear grills was in the SAS and doesn't cary guns and munitions around when he hunts. And military usually have more equipment and probably carry rations with them.
bear grylls actually make my shoe tie into a helicopter 😮
Yeah you were, he isn't trying to compete with special forces survival, not that i'm aware of, it's like complaining that a Toyota Prius doesn't do as well as a Ford Raptor in rugged terrain, it's not meant to do that.
Grills was in the sas But most of his TV tactics are useless on a service situation
I thin Grylls' show stuff is geared towards things like "got lost ans lost all my gear on the jungle" survival form, of course that's different to what military personnel needs.
Turning a shoelace into a helicopter seems like it would be a useful skill.
Bear Grylls is ex SAS. The most elite Special Operations unit in the world. (An argument can definitely be made for DELTA Force tho). He definitely knows how to operate like a Special Forces soldier
Bear grylls was an was operator so he should know the strategies
Were you too harsh? Nope!
Thank you for your service and God bless you 🙏🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖💖
