@ETAPRIME

What do you guys think? Is this N1 Pro Mini PC a Good budget solution for everyday tasks and light gaming and emulation?

@DavidNestorJr

Of course it is no longer available after an ETA Prime review. Good review and another great ETA Prime video

@lilsmithers8681

Could be an incredible mini server with a 2tb drive or an awesome router. This could easily service a home but would be sick as a travel router for sure.

@davefroman4700

Perfect for older people on a budget who just want to do email etc. I bought something similar for my sister in law.

@edwardgreenjr167

I'd recommend looking at some of the other N150 mini PCs Amazon recommends. If USB-C is not deal breaker for you, there are other models with WiFi6, full size PCI-E SSD and up-gradable ram for the same price or cheaper.

@srvuk

The stated spec said 4800 for the RAM but the BIOS and utility said 4400. The full featured USB-C port is what makes the difference here for this class and size of PC. No mention of what speed the port works at. 10Gb would be a nice touch. Not bad for old geezers like davefroman4700. Good at $130 but $200 would likely have me passing by.

I love these videos, long time follower of the channel.

My major gripe is none of the pc’s you review are available outside of the US even the ones on Amazon.

 (Always says won’t ship to your location and won’t even show the price because of that)

If a company send a unit for you to review make sure they sell/ship globally. Feel like viewers outside the USA are just being constantly alienated.

& that’s coming from London in the UK.

@RobertDunn310

Nice. This can make a great Opnsense router due to the dual NIC.

@martinrakovicky1189

Ideal as a HTPC connected to TV

@RifterDask

I have this exact unit. It makes for an incredible OPNSense firewall. My local services load instantly where it used to take a couple seconds.

If you have a little knowhow I'd definitely buy this and an access point over a big box router with dubious firmware.

@JackWeems

Thank you for including power consumption. I've been looking for something to turn into a portable "server" and knowing how long this can run on battery is a big help. Very much torn between this, I love the price and form factor, and the GMKTec NucBox G9 NAS for the 4 NVMe slots/

@JoshColletta

Give me four of these and I can set up my entire broadcast audio studio.

@ravagingwolverine

Looks a lot like some 140w chargers. Kind of funny to think about it like that. The N100 and no N150 are really cool processors for the budget space as they are quite capable. As you say, even PS2 emulation works on those, even the N100s. I even got some decent performance in games I've tested on some old 4570T systems I have. What I also find remarkable is how this has dual ethernet, and that really makes something like this versatile as it can be set up as a custom router, though the rest of the specs are a bit overkill for that. Still, if the price is right for that, then why not.

@BBP-oil

These little N PCs are great. I use some similar N97 models as members of a Proxmox cluster. Works out cheaper than a raspberry pi 5 and power consumption is not that bad for an x86. Though I did find running camera software like AgentDRV it was running at 20watts constantly, all cores at 50%. N150 might be a bit lower. I could use two of these for an HA firewall setup and it would still be cheaper to run than my current i5-4590 setup.

@silasmayes7954

I've been looking for a device to use for a OPNsense router this is perfect and at the right price.

@dobiesj

Pretty wild that it has a USB Type-C at this price point and form factor. Hopefully that means we'll see more of tiny PCs with USB Type-C. Wish this had a N97 CPU for a bit more GPU performance.

@oldbrokenhands

Grandma I got you a computer.

@Carnyzzle

Damn that legitimately fits in your pocket

@just_delightful

Nice overview Gary!

@premnikz

great video sir really love the small pc very cute
