I just remembered when I was reading Mr Lewis’ post to pass on what I learned...set the depth gauge on the bit back a out 1/16 to ⅛” from what the setting says. It helps prevent the Kreg screws going in too deep. The manager at The Woodworking Shop let me know. When you’re working by yourself, the little rip cut does fine. I cut some birch ply on some insulation board to build full extension pull outs making a broom closet into a pantry. And when you get around some old tools, look for a nail puller. I have my Grandpa’s. It looks like a pair of nippers, a slide hammer and has a rocker leg on it.

I'm very surprised with what you've found on yours mine is spot on out of the box the only thing I had to adjust was the marker for zero but that has to be set to the saw you use mine is set for my 18v makita I like the mobility of it all as one unit .my only grip was there isn't anywhere for the Allen key so I drilled a hole in the blue end piece and glued a small magnet in side to hold it all together I've sent you a picture of what I mean . All in all I think it's a great idea and I've found it when I was Mobile very handy for cutting 8x4 sheets to dimension before fitting quite a shocking video unc but thanks for sharing . Missed you yesterday as well

@genebodenberger

I am curious to see that jig in action. It seems like something I would use quite a bit. I would have to ensure I just get it set up square.

@not2fast4u2c

I am sure they did not tell you ..That you need a Square to make the Square ...Square

I don't buy 'kits', but I guess if an impact and a charger with 2 batteries is a kit, then I got one. Usually 'kits' have a bunch of stuff I'd never use so I just get individual pieces. I've got my Plano tackle boxes for parts so I don't really need any more. I had to get a bigger carrying case anyway but just a little and I aim to keep it that way. And checking stuff for square right off is a good idea. That's how I got the big Makita compound miter. Just loosened the bolts and reset the table and there it is. And the mag case DeWalt didn't need anything but someone that knew how to use one. Still not here yet. So have at it! The Gravely is humming right along. I guess it's trimming time again. Then gates again with 4 to go. Then a sandbox to build because the pool was too big for the potting shed/playhouse. Job security. You probably didn't get a video off yesterday for having to edit the muttering out about the missing and not-so-hot pieces of the newest kit. I've got your back on this deal. Thanks Unc and merry whatevering!

@ScoutCrafter

Nothing in my house is square or level after 100 years! Lol. 😃👍

@tarz9386

YA BUY FROM THE MARK DOWN TABLE EXPECT TO FIND PROBLEMS. CAN YOU FIX IT IS THE QUESTION . I DO NOT OWN THIS KREG TOOL BUT HAVE OTHERS AND LIKE THEM. I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED YOU TO MAKE A SAW GUIDE BECAUSE KREG'S
IS SO LIMITED AS TO WHAT IT CAN CUT WIDTH WISE.

@watermain48

Did the set screw ever turn up?

@oljames1687

..the idea may be decent engineering but, i'm not to impressed with the material selection Bossman. I have heard more disappointed reviews than positive. Maybe you can build a better mousetrap out of it...!!

@johnd942

Very tedius and frustrating to watch that 'square' set up and a very 'cluttered' work top.
