fun fact 1: u can hide in a house during the Tesla bossfight fun fact 2: all monsters that spawn during night are gonna be despawned at 5:00
My advice - if you have the Almo class, you can close the entire train cabin. The main passage and the windows. And you can just sit in this cabin at the end of the game. I completed the game with friends this way.
When dealing with bandits on horses, don’t be on a horse yourself, they got like +200% headshot rate, instead just walk
Ok so here's my tips for Dead Rails: 1. You can just use one Sheet Metal to make a door for the train, and use wanted posters on the windows of the train, since u still want to see your surroundings if there's houses, camps, outlaws, etc. 2. If you're really stacked on money, buy 2 rifles (shotgun for optional), having those can make you auto fire since you can reload while using thee other guns. 3. If you're grinding for bonds, stop at towns with banks, it has a good chance of having 3-6 (not sure about that) bonds in there + gold & silver that can be sold for good money. 4. Use horses (PLEASE, STORE 1 IN YOUR SACK) they're goated, you can stall the night with it if there's a town and night comes. 5. Use snake oils in dire situations, the speed and regen of it is so good if you're doing solo. 6. If you have guns that you'll not use anyways cuz u have a better one, sell them for extra cash. 7. The color of the sky tells you the night also (green and just pitch dark in surroundings are zombies, green + black = werewolves & zombies, and red sky will be obviously be vampires). 8. Place turrets (2 if solo) in the top of the train and on the back, they'll help a lot in the 80k mark. (I'll add more to this tips if I discovered something, or got advice from y'all :DD)
Imo the first town is still easy to raid if you pay close attention to enemies, here's how i do it with only a shovel 1: Bait sprinters and get on the train stop platforn, since they cant climb unless they climbed from a dead body 2: Repeat until little/no sprinters are left 3: After that, you can brute force the normal zombies through walls/while backing away
One thing I hate about playing with randoms, is that barely anyone knows that you can outrun werewolves if on horseback. Literally that’s it. Hop on a horse, and gallop around shooting werewolves in the head. Recently lost one of the best runs I’ve ever had cause the random didn’t listen to me when I told him to stay on the horse to shoot the werewolves that killed me at the castle.
i love dying more to lighitings than anything else
About beating the game it's easier than you think, at the last part of the game u just have to lock yourself within a house with the metal sheet lodged outside the door. I recommend only doing that in solo runs cuz in teams it can glitch out letting everyone in to kill you. The last part of the game is all about surviving for 4mins. Also i recommend waiting for the night to pass before lowering the bridge. In the mean time u can collect ammo and bonds on the houses there after killing the first wave of bandits in it. In terms of classes in solo, I would recommend to take arsonist, so u can raid towns very quickly giving you enough money and bonds in short amount of time. Pro tip: You don't have to take everything in town. Just take the gold and silver things, and the crucifixes on church Now for teams, i recommend atleast having one/two arsonist and one high roller to have 2x money to support the team. Have the train cabin boarded up and loot every town u come across. Don't buy armor at the first half of the game, buy rifles first for atleast everyone then go for armors. Keep lot of snake oils to avoid getting caught a huge crowd of zombies or vampires and even werewolfs.
Oh and also, you don’t actually need to kill any bandits during the end, as long as your train is fully played, and you have one bottle of snake oil, you can easily, jump off use snake oil, pull lever, jump on, and then camp your train
Is there supposed to be an ad when it says "Ad time"? Or is this an inside joke that I'm too new to know
circling around a zombie is probably one of the most counter productive things u can do. they still hit u and its way harder then just backing up and trying to stun hit on them
at 4:34 Ad Time, i really got ad there lol
I'd recommend not to sell nikola tesla as you can lose opportunity of getting free bonds, + electrocutioner gun which can easily handle not only nikola tesla at checkpoint 8 but also oneshot any other enemy in the game. Be careful though as it only has 20 charges and you need the gun to be struck with lighting to reload.
hey somesteven, your a great guy, i've enjoyed watching your videos for 1 year now. and it gets even better. dead rails is literally my most favorite roblox game, and your making videos on it! i am happy, and proud. keep continuing with your great content dude, and i hope you eventually hit 300k subs one day! and yet again, have a great day.
I have never seen a good class "ranking". So for anyone who sees this and wants to know wich classes are actually good, keep reading (this is coming from someone with 8 wins). Doctor - A Tier It's hella easy to get early on and has some really useful things. The snake oil can be very important for saving yourself, and if you're for example in a town that you just cleared some zombies in you can use a bandage to regain some hp. The passive can also be pretty useful in multiplayer runs when you dont have any bandages and gotta revive someone. Best beginner class. Arsonist - B tier There is honestly no point in getting arsonist over doctor. Molotovs are only really good when you have a horse, and if you have a horse that means you are already pretty geared up. I could only see it useful in maybe the 80k mark if you cant catch up with killing the hordes, but thats really all. The Alamo - C tier 50 bonds for that is actually insane. You do not need the bulletproof wall. All you have to do is grab the newspaper at the start and you can survive every night (You might take some damage in a blood moon)(except for thunderstorm obviously) by just sitting in there. You can sell the helmet for around 50$ for some decent starting money i guess. The reason i didn't put it in D tier or lower is because you can get some decent starting money and barbed wires wich can help having to tank less and maybe even nothing during a blood moon. If you get a horse there's no point in armoring your train since you can just ride around on the horse and outrun anything. Priest - A tier His passive is arguably his best perk. Being immune to lightning can be pretty op especially if you have bad rng since you are probably gonna get a rod on 40k-60k wich is already mid game, but i'd consider it late game since the first half of the game obviously takes longer. To be honest the crucifixes are pretty useless, i guess you could use them to refill the electrocutioner but you dont really need to use it when you get it up until the nikola tesla boss since you should already have good enough gear to deal with towns and bandits. Holy water can be quite useful but its just 2 bottles, it will only be useful for clearing a single town and has the same "if-you-dont-have-a-horse" problem. You can sell them for pretty decent starting money though. The passive and holy water makes this class really good if you have the bonds for it. Ironclad - B tier 2x hp can be useful for clearing your first town but the 20% debuff is kind of impacting since you cant stack snake oil anymore. WAYYYY too overpriced. If it would be 35 - 50 bonds i would put it on A tier.
The video Bieng 9:11 is interesting Anyways I rate this video 9/11
one thing. in the castle there's a knife with lifesteal. so if you put full armor and use it(it has a very fast attack and a good(more or less) regen, well, you can litterally beat this boss with it
normally when i do solo runs, i dont raid buildings except for the fort and the 80km checkpoint for bonds. what i usually do to beat the game is to just get fuel and rush too the end as fast as possible at the same time trying to be well equipped with guns, ammo, and any healing items, and armor. i just use this strat because im a noob at the game but i did beat the game solo a few times when the leaderboard for wins was not added. try this strat, raid no buildings and go for fuel and items and beat the game, if u have classes then u can maybe lessen the time to beat but overall its a good strat. a downside of not raiding buildings is that u may not get alot of bonds but the fort constitution and the end checkpoint should give enough bonds for ya
this was really helpful keep up the great content
