Chapter 6 Why did Johnny decide to turn himself into the police? Johnny decided to turn himself in to the police because he did not want to spend his whole life hiding. He had thought if he turned himself in he would have a better chance of getting off easy with the help of Ponyboy and Cherry. Describe how Johnny and Ponyboy acted heroically. They were like heroes because they ran back to the church to save the children as they sort of felt like it was there fault the fire started and risked there lives even though Dally told them the roof was collapsing. Why did Dally suddenly enter the burning building? Dally went into the burning building to rescue Johnny. Why did Dally hit Ponyboy? He hit Ponyboy on the back to put out the fire because he was burning. What made Ponyboy realize at last that Darry loved him? Explain what he meant by “I was finally home to stay”. Jerry told Ponyboy when he woke up that Darry had hit him to put out the fire on him, Ponyboy realized Darry did that because he was afraid of losing him and this made Ponyboy feel wanted. Pony essentially meant that he had finally learned that Darry actually loves him and he would never think of running away again. I think one day in the future somebody is gonna call me out for doing this on insta since I linked my YouTube in my linktree

life hack: turn on the playback speed to 1.25 and you'll get done faster. unless you can understand super fast talking then go to 1.5 i did this and finished chapter 4-6 in less then an hour
