Letโs just say, when thereโs a gold rush, the guy selling shovels always makes the most money
I have a buddy who owns a car wash. He built his mining machines in the office where he's plumbed in the cold intake of water lines to cool the shelves& radiators (basically some water cooled boxes we built) that in turn cool the machines during spring and summer. Then come fall&winter, he ends up heating up that cold intake water with said equipment, resulting in him not having to spend a shitload on gas hot water heaters. Lol. He said it's basically tripling the average profits a normal mining operation would get because of the savings on utilities
It would be funny if bitcoin was invented by the power companies
He showed us the door code because itโs failing miserably and he wants the insurance money from a hardware theft.
๐200 in BTC 500 in electricity Bill's ๐
Just so you know all the data entry dudes at the power company probably pull you up on google maps and say โSEE I told you heโs growing weedโ๐
"Filled to the brim" proceeds to show massive amounts of dead space ๐
"earning $200 a day" as opposed to "profiting $200 a day"
Bro connect that warm air to your house and now you have heating for the winter
Energy bill: $198.76 a day
ROI on this cannot really be all that much. Depreciation, maintenence, and energy costs $$$
The California gold rush made the people selling shovels and jeans all the money
This is a textbook example of a fool's errand.
"This clear space on the floor is where I sleep, since the bank took my house. It's loud and uncomfortable, but it stays nice and toasty in the winter."
I remember when you just had a couple little small rigs in a room at your house. Keep going up my friend ๐ช๐ช๐ช
Bro just grow marijuana at this point
We are devolving.
Cable management has left the chat
