@RTSFan1337

While your technical ingenuity is impressive, what truly amazes me is your philosophy of choosing slim yet fitting solutions over bleeding-edge high tech.
I really love following your journey - it's inspiring.

The voxel navigation system... Is very impressive.

@dabunnisher29

Im learning so much from this project. Im really interested in the voxel camera part. Great videos!

@MrBlocksPlays

love the new things your putting in with editing like the red outlines

@PropellerSteve

Thanks for sharing. I appreciate the hard work you have put into this project.

@trippletrip9374

With the voxel map, wouldn’t you be able use something like A* path finding to make a path around the map? Though the floor would have to mapped for it to work well.

@JamesNewton

Can i ask how much the component costs?

@chrisBruner

fantastic idea!

@PeterWallhead

This is a really cool project!

Are you considering using ROS 2 in the future to make communicating between modules potentially easier?

@nraynaud

nice work! Can you elaborate about the clocking of the various sensors? To fusion the data you need to know its sampling date, and it's not always easy to coral all the sensors to a credible timeline.

@alaricwilli6482

DF robot make an off the shelf solution that seems quite similar to this. RGB-D 3D ToF Sensor Camera.

I've also heard that impulse edge is great for cleaning up noisy sensor data.

I bet the first time you saw those voxels was pretty exciting. Does it save the map?

@PhG1961

Waw, this is very impressive!

@chrisalexthomas

outstanding!

just get an infrared torch and an Oculus DK2 IR camera (old and cheap) and basically you get a Z-buffer like from 3D software. The darker the object the further away from the camera.
