@patrickoconnor1279

“I totally need counseling,” she says. Detective responds, “You’re definitely a candidate.” Understatement of the year.

@ianatkinson6111

The fact that Tonina had the balls to do an interview with you guys is crazy. Especially when everything she told you was different from the police. I think she should be behind bars.

@springsteenguy

Tonina is that person who does a 15 minute maid-of-honor speech where she talks about herself more than the couple. She’s so inwardly focused and mentally ill that she was flattered when the detective complimented her on CPR.

@Chili1179

"I know my sisters child is dead but what about how I feel?" Mind blowing.

@meganthemom

I can’t get over how bizarre this entire thing is. ALL OF THEM are the weirdest people I’ve ever seen in a true crime case.

@chelseydittrich5257

How Tonina wasn’t charged at all in any of this is beyond me. The detective put ZERO pressure on her despite changing her story multiple times and her strange comments throughout the entire interview process. It’s baffling.

@klippitykloppity

The nonchalant way Tonina was telling the 911 operator her "nephew just drowned in the bathtub, can you send somebody over?" like she's just calling for a cab. It was disturbing than immediately became sickening when she realized the Operator had actual concern for poor DeAngelo, and she tried to act like she did, too. Horrifying

@slsinflorida

My theory is that the aunt killed the kid and Grandma was legitimately in shock. Then Grandma took the fall for the pampered princess.

@JasperCatProductions

You see a 4 year old in a tub you think he is drowning and you just leave him in there? You call 9-1-1 but leave the baby in the water? My God these people are horrid. This aunt is giving me the creeps.

@MeMe-oh5qj

The mother referring to her 25 year old daughter as “ the little one” as well as making sure she could go live with her sister made it clear to me that the mother is taking the fall.

@Skoshtwo

The fact that this self-centered psychopath is not behind bars scares me.

@sambmortimer

The way Tonina talks, she reminds me so much of one of the most toxic, narcissistic people I have ever met. Her saying everyone 'treats her terribly', what they do is 'unacceptable', talking confidently about minor details which change later, the overall karen vibe and the constant changing of topics whenever what the detective asked doesn't interest her is giving me flashbacks.

@scottsthots6880

Can someone start a petition to reopen the case and charge Tonina. What she did to her nephew and mother was absolutely vile.

@zekumi

I’ve seen literally hundreds of police interrogations in my life, and Tonina is by a large margin the most mentally unwell person I’ve ever seen interviewed by police.

@emilylafrance4930

FLEW to the comments to get some affirmation in my very strong belief that Tonina 100000% did this and yall did not disappoint. Thank you for restoring my faith in humanity after this physically painful case.

@hi-of3zo

This interview actually irritated me, the fact that tonina didn’t receive any punishment for this is beyond me, throughout the interview she was literally withholding information, the cop applied ZERO pressure to her, she 1000% had something to do with it, and let her mom take all the blame for it.

And making it seem like her sisters are wrong for thinking she had something to do with it is wild. The fact that she’s FREE right now is insane. She wasn’t concerned for him at all!! And laughing in the newer interview????

Not only that but her voice is fucking annoying.

@c.r.8815

Totally blown away when she said that in 2009 she was a supermodel and people were jealous of her success and wanted to tear her down. MA'AM.

@narageaedeon7845

Does anyone else think that Tonina is the one who snapped and killed her nephew. The mother who was starting to suffer from dementia, was convinced to take the blame to protect the golden child. Every interview that Tonina gives it’s all about her.

@sassyrae92

Tonina killed that little boy and blamed her mother, who was clearly too mentally disturbed herself to be able to properly defend herself. The fact that she still plays victim to this day, is absolutely disgusting. The only real victim is that poor child and his mother and father

@jasonriddle4492

Not a single tear from any of these 3 women. Not even mom. These people are gone
