Dave thank you so much. You saved my life!!!I was lying in the hospital with covid thinking I was going to die when I ran across you building that little cabin . The 12×10 and I said to myself if I make it through this I'm going to change my life. So I bought a little bit of land and quit my job paid off everything I owed and built a cabin just like yours. A little bigger 10×16 with a 6×16 sleeping porch. I have solar and a water catchment and a outhouse. I'm totally off grid. I have a part time job and actually have more money than I had before. I'm so much more happy. Thank you so much. You gave me the confidence to do this

Dave and Brooke, I see your videos as a special treat when they come out. It's like getting the frosting flower on a piece of birthday cake. Hey, I would love to see more content, even if it is "boring" in your eyes. Your adventures do not seem boring to me, even if it's just filming the grass grow. I live in the city and love to see even the mundane things you and Brooke are up to, because it is so different than our fast-paced, on-grid life. New content from you is like a trip to the woods for me. Thanks for being radical!

I always love your building content! I also love your beautiful transitions and moments during whatever you are doing. The fire crackling at night and the dogs curling up at your feet when you are done for the day. It is always such a blissful sight. You always seem have the most gorgeous scenery (but simple) around you. Your videos are not overdone just calming and informative. Thank you (and Brooke too)!

67 year old 'kind of rancher' woman here. Have done a lot of solo camping and riding. I found you a while back doing a search for how to build an out house. That video hooked me! Then I found Brooke's channel, love her! Then discovered Alone. I've enjoyed every video of yours that I've seen. Thanks Dave!

From the concept to the final production is so much time and creative energy for just one video, so don't worry about what people say they are just unaware of the "struggle " it is to put out a ton of content. Don't know what you said before but anything you put out is good...very good. I don't mind that you take long to put out a video because I am usually well satisfied with the wait. Just live your best life and keep up the quality and what you teach us in the videos.

I think your a staple of YouTube, down to earth, logical, humble, a K.I.S.S. method kind of guy…. Honestly I like when you do voice overs. (Explaining tasks) It’s like listening to an audio book. I don’t think there’s anything new under the sun to video. So I’m not picky just interested in the outdoors type videos…. Keep your life sane and don’t worry about us. (Unless you need the income and like videoing for it) thanks for all the content. Anything outdoors or homestead or farm related I watch to learn from others. Thank you and good to see y’all!!
