I have to add to what everyone else is saying. They are drones that carry passengers. Passenger drones, not flying cars. A flying car would drive like a car then be able to convert to a flight mode. This things can't be driven on the road therefore they are not flying cars. They are personal flying drones.
I do wanna recognize how well produced this video is! SO many on site interviews, locations, and companies involved. Great job, Bloomberg team!
we already have flying cars that called helicopters and aeroplanes
Give the motion designer for this video a raise.
Car prices go down > Everyone buys cars > Traffic becomes congested > Rich people buy flying cars.
Just build high speed trains
Why don't we just call them electric helicopter?
It's incredible to see how flying cars have gone from sci-fi to serious investment—over $6 billion has already been poured into the eVTOL space. With big names like Toyota backing Joby and United Airlines partnering with Archer, it's clear that this isn't just hype. The next few years could completely change how we think about city travel.
If this is ah car, then a big airplane is a bus.
He called the company Jetson. That's all we need to know
Do we really need "flying cars"? Do we really want all that metal flying around our heads?
As always with Bloomberg Original videos--absolute peak quality throughout the entire video--bravo. Your quality really sets you apart from other competitors in this business info space on YT.
VIDEO PRODUCTION & STORYTELLING Well done on this. Fantastic architecture and storytelling. And incredible graphics and animation to help illustrate the story and keep this interesting. Hats off to the team that created all this. Keep more of it up.
What a mind blowing production! Enjoyed every insight! Well done Bloomberg team👏
Flying cars will never be allowed in urban environments.
Flying car accidents tend to be a lot worse.
6:35 but, we have to remember that electric motors are more efficient than gasoline engines. An electric motor is about 90% efficient whereas a gasoline engine is 25% efficient. But yes we need to make batteries that are lighter and more energy dense.
I just fail to see how something that can't also drive on wheels can be called a 'flying car', its just a new model of aircraft...
People can’t even drive on roads now we’re going to allow them to just fly randomly around… what could go wrong?
